deputydogsays...'In this disturbing programme presented by Mark Thomas, schoolchildren using simple letterheads, a mobile phone, an email address and a little money show how you can flout the rules and get tooled up to a dangerous degree.
After setting up two companies they arranged arms deals to destinations covered by British and other national trade embargoes - South African rifles to Israel, Pakistani grenade launchers to Syria and Turkish guns to Mali.
The film demonstrates that although governments say they're opposed to the arms trade, the controls they have in place don't do enough to prevent it.'

siftbotsays...Saving this video from queue deletion, sending it to the top of the queue for one more try. Originally submitted on Wednesday 7th February 2007 (save called by gold star member benjee)
benjeesays...Damn, it's dead - the first time I don't check before saving and it backfires...
I've found a full replacement, although it has a lame label accross it: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1051967493712983252
deputydogsays...Cheers Benjee
deputydogsays...Sorry Benjee, gonna get rid of it. That banner across the middle does my head in
Thanks though.

Farhad2000says...Yeah the banner really did kill the video.
benjeesays...I agree - it's a shame an ultra-idiot submitted this replacement; the banner spoils it. As I've got this myself, I could of uploaded it to Google for a replacement - but that would feel slightly dirty.
