Well Sigfridnuts, I expect that Gore probably would have sent troops into Afghanistan and brought down that governemnt, but not gone into Iraq. That would mean that world focus and attention would have been on bringing stability to Afghanistan instead of the current debacle in Iraq. Afghanistan could have used the extra attention and now might actually have been that shining example of muslim democracy that Bush is seeking.
