Top Gear has an episode where they drove from the south of Vietnam to the north on scooters and it's the best episode they have ever done. The country is so beautiful, even a veteran of the war couldn't stop talking about that rather than his time there. One of my life goals is to go to Vietnam on a giant scooter tour, trying food and seeing sights and learning history up close and personal.
