The age of the amateur film maker is getting more and more blurry, with the advent of DSLR cameras making there way into the prosumer market.

I marked this video with NSFW due to the very explicit drug use. Not for the squeamish.

Yes the D5 is a bit steep at 3200 USD. The Nikon D90 that I use is far more reasonable at 900 for the body only or 1200 for the "kit" with a good starter lens.
