This is sort of amazing---from a British television series called "Frontline Battle Machines" with the host of the series, "Wheelers Dealers"---Mike Brewer. He and his camera man do a ride along with a rather famous British Chinook helicopter (CH-47)---Bravo November---a whirly bird that has been flying for the Brits for 30 years through multiple upgrades---and won its various pilots 4 Distinguished Flying Crosses in the process (Go Boeing Vertol!).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bravo_November The TV host is clearly rattled by the experience of being under actual fire---
and has quite emotional experience once they are back on the ground and can see the bullet damage to the aluminium fuselage.
Haven't see an American broadcast equivalent (though many honorable documentaries--e.g., Korengal et al)

CrushBugsays..."chin-uck" - that is really interesting. I have not heard it pronounced that way before. I have always heard "shin-ook".
siftbotsays...Moving this video to SFOGuy's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
