60 Minutes: Using neuroscience to read minds

Neuroscience has learned much about the brain's activity and its link to certain thoughts. As Lesley Stahl reports, it may now be possible, on a basic level, to read a person's mind.

Once, in my ninth grade class, my classmate did this paper about how trashy news programs that people take seriously are, in which 60 minutes was included. To this day I think that was one of the most insightful essays I had ever heard from somebody at the ninth grade level and I've agreed with her ever since.
