1983 Apple Keynote-The "1984" Ad Introduction

YouTube: 'Here we see Steve Jobs at a keynote in 1983 showing for the first time ever the famous "1984" ad by Ridley Scott to an exclusive audience. The ad was shown on tv shortly after that only once during the 1984 Superbowl & never aired again & is considered to be one of the greatest ads of all time.'

This should be followed up with the 1997 address where Bill Gates appears via satellite on the big screen behind Jobs (not unlike Big Brother).

Shuac, the 1999 movie Pirates of Silicon Valley opens with Jobs unveiling this commercial, and ends with the scene you describe where Jobs announces Microsoft is rescuing Apple, and Bill Gates looms large on a screen over his shoulder.

I think it's about as good as a movie about rival OS\computing platforms could be.

That 1984 commercial really sucks by the way.
