ok, so I just finished reading "Running With Scissors" on my new Kindle. I wasn't disturbed or shocked...I thought he handled everything pretty well, considering. Every time I read one of these things I'm more tempted to write my story...need more motivation, got any more recommendations?

I thought I was unshockable after I read that book too, then I followed Manson's book with "Running with Scissors" which disturbed me a lot more than Manson's book
In reply to this comment by laura:
Yeah, I was given it as a gift, lent it to someone, never got it back, bought another one...repeat three times. It's that engrossing. Plus, I learned from that book that I'm a lot naughtier than I thought...
I couldn't be shocked, I tell you.

I love that book. A friend loaned it to me one day and I just casually opened it up to check out how it was written. It sucked me in instantly and it just got better.

Read his book The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell.
I think Bill O'Reily should stick to interviewing people within the reality realm of his understanding.
MM handles these things soooooooo well. I am not such a huge fan of his music, but I am a huge fan of him.
Lady GaGa on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Interview
It's like Marilyn Manson had a little sister who's into Pop.

Kind of a worthless tag to add on there. No thanks.

25 Random things about me... (Blog Entry by youdiejoe)
Sorry about the soppy theme. Yes its <3 and yes I do have other interests.
1. I convinced my 6 year old self that Sonic the Hedgehog was my boyfriend
2. I actually liked Knuckles more, but figured he was out of my league
3. I thought I was in loved with my parents' friends' son, who was much older than me. I was about 12.
4. Then at 14 I contacted him, because I thought it would be romantic to lose my virginity to him, my first "love"
5. We hung out, I realized it was all fake, and kicked him out of my house before we did anything serious. He was not happy.
6. I went through all of middle school hung up on wanting a boyfriend and liking boys. No I do not have an absent father figure.
7. I became confident and found my true personality in the second year of high school, from then on, I got anyone I perused and started doing extremely well in school.
8. I almost lost my virginity drunk at a party on the backyard lawn. We were interrupted.
9. I almost lost my virginity in a bathroom in Cuba, with a Cuban model. We were interrupted.
10. I lost my virginity on a forest floor, with a British man whom I dearly loved and who dearly loved me. We had a long wonderful relationship. I am very glad it happened that way, and I feel very stupid reflecting on how it could have happened.
11. In middle school I fell in love with a bat. He was a character in the "Silverwing" book series. I told my friend and she laughed at me and made me cry.
12. I was my best gay friend's straight love (every gay guy has a girl love). I rejected him, he guilt tripped me and we didn't speak for 2 years. We have been amazing friends since then for about 6 years now.
13.I have had my heart broken once. He later fixed it.
14. I have never been in a "bad" relationship.
15. I am exactly like my mother when it comes to love.
16. I was in love with my high school art teacher. He was an ugly British man. He knew I wanted to fuck him in the dark room. He was a very innocent guy and it made him feel somehow guilty. We are friends still, and we email each other and I visit him at school. He is proud of me artistically and that makes me happy.
17. I have had a sex dream about the guy from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Except he wasn't all overly concerned and happy, but was bad ass, to match his sexy exterior
18. I had a sex dream about House (Hugh Laurie)
19. I had a sex dream about Chase (the Aussie) from House
20. I had a sex dream about a young version of Marilyn Manson
21. I enjoyed all of the above
22. I watch porn at least once a week
23. Although I have used the word "love" loosely, I have only actually truly loved two men.
24. I feel like I am an extremely lucky person and that nothing horrible has every happened to me...especially after reading some of these.
25. The only things that matter to me in life is creative fulfillment and mutually loving the people who deserve it, hopefully that is your family, your current partner, your children, and probably only half your friends.
The Beautiful People - Marilyn Manson
>> ^Sagemind:
"All good people are asleep and dreaming"
Skinny Puppy? Been a while since I've heard that sample.
Eddie Izzard on Guns and The NRA
Dangit... I was hoping to come here and read a whole bunch of gun nuts screaming blue murder about their favourite passtime... but instead we have juvenile dicks somehow having an issue with a man in a dress and makeup. Bloody hell, he's wearing clothes and makeup man...
I would find it amusing if you like Marilyn Manson or other heavy rockers who enjoy makeup, but draw the line here because it looks too womanly.
How does it make it hard to do a comedy routine dressed like this anyway? Are you that bedazzled by the outfit that you can't LISTEN TO HIS WORDS?
Man... you have issues.
Mickey Avalon - "Fuckin' Em All"
its funny but this guy actually gets a lot of chicks. I've been a fan of his since the beginning and hes actually pretty funny in interviews and seems like a decent guy...apart from being completely doped up and std ridden. Mickeys a true rags to riches story, even if hes not THAT rich. I rapped his "Mr. Right" for a talent show-ish event in high school...a great moment for me...errr
ps.(2:37 is very marilyn manson-esque especially if you see Dope Hat)
300 - by Bioware
Just to be picky, any medival fantasy game whose trailer shows you only the cut scenes, to the music of Marilyn Manson, is going to be pants.

Gary Numan - Down in the Park
Big Gary Numan fan. The Marilyn Manson version of this song is pretty good too.
Baby P - Our Child Services Are Failing Us Again
This story has been exploded over every newspaper front page and been the lead story on BBC & UK TV news all of last week.
The newspapers would *love* to have mutilated child photos splashed all over their front page, but the CGI mockup is the best they have.
We have such an appetite for big controversial news stories, and if there's a taboo involved we can't get enough of it.
Tragedy! What can we blame it on this week?
Drugs?
Violent computer games?
The government?
Marilyn Manson?
Child murder and a social care institution it is then. The financial crisis and big bank stuff was getting boring anyway, at least this has a bit of *spice* to it.
It'll be hard to top this, come next Monday.
