sorry, had to down vote. They play this on an endless loop on the noggin in the evenings after the kids shows end. I hated it when it was new and hate it even more now. Nothing personal against you or Will Smith, just can't stand the show.

This is a good example of 'seemingly real but fake' that has got some decent votes (22). People thought this was actually a real episode of the children's television show 'rainbow' that was broadcast. Turns out it was just a 'joke' that the programe makers and actors made for themselves and it was never broadcast for children's television, and was never intended to be.

the context? if you've not seen it before it's a mock tv kids show. hit and miss - very disturbing at times, brilliant at others.

The music box sequence is a parody of an old UK TV kids show called Camberwick Green, every episode started with the main character to be featured in that episode emerging from the magical music box.
