FPS Russia Comes Closer Than Ever To Dirt Nap

That quotient becomes irrelevant to the adrenal junkie. Above average digits are sometimes an indicator that someone is not only extremely intelligent, but and in MANY cases, batshit fucking "insane" or difficult to codify in the very least.

He's smart enough to make a fat enough stack of cabbage from his You Tube channels to afford all that hi-cal ammo and tannerite, play all day long and blow shit up to feed that monkey!

Not to mention the straaange following him around everywhere...The guy no-doubt attracts a lotta tail!

Young man shot after GPS error

I don't see how it's a poor comparison at all. Anti-gun people seem to think that banning guns will significantly reduce violent crime. This isn't really the case, as the statistics show. If your logic was valid, then Florida would have a higher violent crime and murder rate than DC simply because it's much easier for criminals to get guns. However, the factors that lead to violent crime and murder extend far beyond the availability of guns, so trying to ban all guns is kind of missing the point. It's like putting a Band-Aid on a gaping wound.

As for your drug analogy, I'm not really sure what you were trying to say. I think your attempt at sarcasm overshadowed the clarity of your message. That said, it's a good thing you brought up narcotics because they also kill significantly more people than guns. They are also banned, yet drug-related deaths and crime continue unabated. It's amusing that the same people who decry the War on Drugs are so quick to demand a ban on guns when the former shows how ineffective bans actually are. If a junkie can get his hands on drugs, a homicidal sociopath can get his hands on guns, legally or otherwise.

grinter said:

Seriously? You think that comparing DC to the State of Florida is a good way to make a point?
And speaking of poor comparisons, drugs are something we use on ourselves which carry a risk of death, guns are something we use on other people which carry a risk of survival. Same thing, right?

A dramatic surprise on an ice-cold day - Push to add DRAMA!

grinter says...

I think they confused "drama" with "action".
Pushing a drama button would make you hold a young child in your arms as you watch her junkie mother knowingly share a tin of poisoned sardines with the abusive and unwitting father -- a twisted gesture of compassion by a woman who has realized that her existence would eventually destroy the one person she is still capable of loving.

Gun Control, Violence & Shooting Deaths in A Free World

Jerykk says...

Banning guns won't stop criminals from having them, just like banning drugs hasn't stopped junkies from getting them or dealers from selling them. Also, remember the prohibition? Yeah, that definitely made alcohol disappear from the U.S.! Oh wait, no it didn't. It just gave criminals more money and power because they controlled it.

If you're going to argue that guns should be banned, you should also argue that drugs, alcohol and cigarettes should be banned. After all, those three things are each responsible for more deaths than firearms are. Sadly, as history has proven, banning something doesn't make it disappear. It just ensures that criminals control it.

Study Dispels Concealed Carry Firearm Fantasies

Jerykk says...

Okay, that's one example. Have any others? Also, guess how the shooter in that spree was stopped? He was shot by someone else with a gun. If nobody else was carrying guns in that area, the casualties would have been significantly higher.

The fact is that the vast majority of shooting sprees happen in schools and business areas.

Also, why do people think that banning guns would be any more effective than banning drugs? Have the junkies and cartels disappeared since the war on drugs began? No. Will guns disappear if they are banned? No. If people really want a gun, they'll get one, legally or not. Banning guns just ensures that people who obey the law will be left defenseless against criminals, which is exactly what criminals want.

Dude, you are quite wrong. There have been many killing sprees at police stations and military bases. Are you fucking kidding me? You don't remember THE FORT HOOD murders?

Salvia is for winners! Or...

Quadrophonic says...

I had two kinds of experiences with this stuff. One is a incredible laughing hysteria (like seen here), where I didn't know why I was laughing after about 30 seconds into the experience. The second would be change of gravity, opening my mind and thoughts, having conversations with the universe, shortly after that realizing I was talking with my Television for 2 minutes... The worst thing was that it talked back, so I thought.

To adress the first few posts. It's not a hard drug, there is no case of salvia junkies or such, you can literally buy this stuff legal... since ever. But I wouldn't recommend anyone who isn't strong minded and in the right mental state at the time of consumption. Salvinorin A is the strongest hallucinogen we know of, although it lasts only 5 minutes. And if you try something like that always have somebody with you who is sober. You will thank him later, while he will hate you a little bit for the shit you did.

TYT - Gun Massacre Forces Change in Australia

SevenFingers says...

The technology for firearms exist, they will always exist now. If someone truly was willing and dedicated to kill people with a gun, they will. You can make a gun with the right materials, though obviously not the same craftsmanship as a manufacturer.

I can totally see how banning guns can save lives: If a parent, or roommate, etc, owned a gun, and someone who knew that completely legal gun was able to be reached and used to kill innocent people. Then yes, banning guns would have stopped that. But if they are, then there's a small line that guy needs to cross: to reach out to whoever to find an illegal weapon.

I for one believe they should be legal, and I also believe that if someone wants to own one, they do their damned homework and train in the ways of a gun, that would save more lives than anything else. Reckless use of a gun is stupid and deadly to the gun owner him(her)self. Would be like a knife wielding junkie going against a samurai, if you do not know how to handle a gun, or handle being under pressure, you are the junkie.

Point 1: If by misquote, you mean substituted a larger term (religion) for a smaller one (churches), I suppose I did. But without religion, there -are- no churches. I don't see any meaningful difference.

Point 2: Texas has worked damned hard to earn its reputation as a major-league collection of wingnuts. I'm not sure how you can justify getting upset when that reputation is assumed to be true. You have a problem with the reputation, maybe you should start blaming the people who are going out of their way to earn it...like Rick Perry, or the Texas Board of Education. As long as the state is trying to rewrite history to eliminate reality's liberal bias, you're going to be stuck with that.

Point 3: Perhaps I should have slowed down and spent more time in the step-by-step logic...I really thought most people who read her could follow the shorthand, but I did indeed jump about a bit.

In many ways, churches are no different than any corporation. They exist as a means to concentrate funds and offer the controller(s) of those funds a method of avoiding personal responsibility for misuse of those funds. On top of that, churches pay no taxes, although they still make liberal use of publicly funded services, -and- in many cases, they keep lobbying for public funds to be handed over to them as well. Now add how many churches are politically active and advising their cult members how to vote, and you might begin to see why I refer to them all as corporate welfare queens. Or maybe not...I don't know if you're even going to try to follow it or not, and don't much care at this point.

Jeeez dude, you are about a party-liner ain't ya?? Texas would be the first state to "separate" from the diseased political system you so faithfully believe in and, as we observe, believe in as fervently as any bible-thumping proselytizer determined to beat a moot point into oblivion.
As the government of the U.S. continues down her retrograde path, churches will become for many, a last bastion of sanity exempt from a really retarded form of totalitarianism and fascism. Retarded, because folks who talk shit from the comfort of their programming who belie intelligence with their words should have seen the shit coming from miles away but were too comfortable in their delusion to see the boots and badges-

I was gonna...but then decided it's not worth it, then changed my mind one last time.
I suspect aAnyone who can call religion "the last bastion of sanity" is too far gone to make sense, but... Religion supplies a cushy lifestyle for priests...that's the sum total of it's accomplishments. Churches have, if anything, helped push the government down the path you so self-righteously condemn...and they preach and stump political issues all without paying any taxes. Yet more corporate welfare.
It's time for the -real- welfare queens to start paying their share...churches, Wall Street, Defense contractors, big Pharma, etc. Time to either start contributing to the upkeep of society, or be broken up (or strung up, as the case may be).

No, you misquote me and then infer bullshit in that same smug manner that libby there used and that anyone on the receiving end of such smug could expect after reading a gajillion similar quips. I said CHURCHES and meant the members of the same whose communal efforts keep the building's physical plant in order and supports the members in time of want or need. You know...The first places to get raided and ransacked when the jackboots come??
This didn't start about about religion: I started it when Potato-libro there took a jab at Texas and lighted upon another opportunity to bash "them ignernt conservatives, etc.", NOT UNLIKE a shitload of folks with "holier than thou" attitudes concerning politics and government. QUITE laughable really, because the opinions they have and the conclusions they have arrived at, are based on limited and incomplete information or worse, they have been programmed to do so through systematic efforts by do-nothings in colleges or universities.
Stormsinger, YOUR rant began with religion and politics and manically concluded with corporations and Wall Street....WTF??!! By the way, my solution as an anarchistic, soon-to-be expatriate is to use the BIG TEX method on governments and corporations. You hate em so much, be like the Hulk. SMAAAASH! Then burn, repeat.
Can we talk about how fucking progressive IDAHO is now??? Jesus Christ, Allah Mustapha!!
I suspect anyone who can start with anti-religion rants, switch to blaming churches for the state of America's demise, bash tax-exemption and somehow blame corporate welfare (whatever the fuck!??...see where this is going?) and arrive at a total solution by blaming BELTWAY INSIDERS AND THE SENATORS/CONGRESSMEN THEY HAVE BOUGHT for pharma, defense, etc. shifting the blame to people without any power or influence???....I'd have to call them schizophrenic! Which is how most rabid concerning politics ion one side or the other are to me. ALLL OF THEM, conservative or liberal. I could give a fiddler's fist-fuck about working within a failed system. I prefer to keep to the fringes of this broken machine and put as little of my resources or mentations into it.
But some, like stormie and libby here...well, hopeless fiends and junkies for the dance politic. Playing right into the hands of the corporations iffn ya axe me!

I've got to say, that unless someone has some evidence that the prosecutor's statement is a lie, or they have a confession, I'd more or less agree with dropping the charges. Why would the driver keep silent about the weapon in his possession? Sounds a lot like a setup...rich drunk guy makes a pretty good target.

OK if this was a junkie skinhead attacker and the victim was a virgin princess would you say the same?
I'm assuming you are from some oligarch/monarchist society where one person is better than the other or you wouldn't dare speak such hateful hypocrisy in the open.. would you also let him fuck your wife on your wedding night? This is what trials are for brother, some of us are glad the middle ages are over..

As a matter of fact, I would. I'm something of a believer in the idea that you need fucking evidence to convict someone. Not "he said", not "the victim said", not even eye witnesses (who are almost totally unreliable). But when evidence is hidden away by the victim for months, then suddenly becomes available at the last minute, there's something fishy going on. And when there is fishy goings on, the accused gets the benefit of the doubt...what was it, better ten guilty men go free than one innocent man be wrongly convicted?

And if you think I support someone just because he's rich and white...well, either you've read none of my posts here, or you're a moron. You pick which one fits.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy hold on to your ching
I'm takin' over America, blowin' up everything
Physically fit, the Ninja very energetic
If you haven't got it by now, then you're never gonna get it
I whip my dick out and piss on all the hard-up 'n fokken rap
Got an offshore account for dollar bills in a stack
Fuck rap
I'm siding with China we not fokken related
Like a methfest, like the first time I ejaculated.

Hit me with the Ching-ching
Not fokken thinking, dolla eye twinkling
Just a bit of junkie,

There's a rumble in the jungle I'm (something) to beat em
Not looking for trouble but trouble's looking for me
M'uppercuts're fokken swollen with nothing just come for free
I used to think I'd always kill this to hustle something to eat
South Africa used to be a twangy'd, (y'know dat's me)

Suddenly you're interested 'cause we're blowing up overseas
Make you money money money
Yes yes yes

Ohh ohhh ohh ohh [x2]

We keep it lekker lekker lekker, zef zef zef
Spend all my fuckin' money til' there's nothing left
I'm a fat cat, keep the change I don't need the slip
With this fat sack of dagga I'm smoking a spliff
In my mat blacks are bottle-haters throwing a fit
Round the corner gooi'n fokken spiff Tokyo drift

My daddy told me there's a lot of fish in the sea
There's just a lotta motherfuckin' money bitches and weed

Ja, dagga dagga dagga, puff puff puff
Bring the beat back Hi-Tek!
Make it rough
We drop the type of beats that make you shut the fuck up and dance
We drop the type of beats so good you're fuckin' stuck in a trance
In the overseas they like to say you're stuck in a trance
We drop the type of beats that make you fuckin' cum in your pants

Pass it to left, like a zef, to the east, to the motherfucken left

Eh Fatty Boom Boom
Hit me with the Ching-ching
Not fokken thinking, dolla eye twinkling
Just a bit of junkie,
