Stephen Colbert Meets His Match!
Excellent interview. It seemed like the audience missed a few of Clive's jokes.
Stephen Colbert Meets His Match!
Ahh Clive... one of Australia's great expats... We sent him to the uk, they lapped him up, gave him many shows, which we then bought back because, well, they were very good.
A fine talent that man.
Stephen Colbert Meets His Match!
you tell him clive! i think i'll have to check out that book. he used to have a show here in the uk, then seemed to have disappeared for a decade
How They Did The Long Takes In Children Of Men
The movie showed that different people respond to a total loss of hope in the future in different ways. Clive Owen's character started as the kind who just wanted to continue working, pretend things are OK. Julianne Moore's character thought the world could still be saved. Danny Huston'a character didn't care about people, just trying to save art. And, Chiwetel Ejiofor's character was a "true believer" who didn't are who got hurt.
You and I might not kill ourselves or anyone else when faced with the end of the human race. But other would, and it doesn't take a huge number of those people to make the world a horrible place for the rest of us.

Clive Wearing: Living Without Memory
I think Clive speaks for all of us when he says, "I'd like to know what the hell's been going on."

Clive Anderson Interviews Bill Hicks, Badly
How the hell did I miss this in the queue? I've downloaded all the Bill Hicks I can find (so I've seen it before): a very awkard interview - as Clive seems to specialise in.

Extreme Amnesia - Less Than 30secs Memory
although, sad ... i found this extremely touching (yes, i shed a tear)! i'm happy that he at least remembers his wife (albeit his 2nd wife, whom he married a year before his illness) ... i love the way he hugs her every time she comes back into the room.
here's a full documentary on clive and his condition. absolutely amazing!!
thanks for this vid, mr dog!
James Brown races Satan (played by Gary Oldman)
James Brown + Gary Oldman + Clive Owen = Great Advert!
"You're the tosser pal!" - Bee Gee loses it on TV (1997)
Clive was needling them, but also clearly lauding them. Apparently, the final straw was a pun he made about "forgetting" some song of Barry's about "remembering." Amazing that those guys have no sense of thier own silliness.
"You're the tosser pal!" - Bee Gee loses it on TV (1997)
I love Clive. Relentless.
You could spend decades taking the piss with Barry Gibb.

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
Wow! I've never seen this before, very fun to watch the aggravation build. Clive just kept needling them - and you could see the smiles slip more and more quickly after each jab.
BMW Films Episode One: Ambush (740i)
The BMW films feature different directors and actors for each short. Here's it's Clive Owen. Expressionless and perfect as always. The story is really shitty.
BMW's are my favourite cars, total sex. Until they messed with that classic shape.
