1) Great detective work
2) That's fucking crazy. You could've never predicted this site's popularity would be based on a graphic rape scene...although you could predict who would've posted such a scene...HAHA jokes, gwiz is good people.
3) The creepiest part of this all, is the crazy comments this video attracted. It's like the destination-spot in a pilgrimage for creeps.

In case you're interested, I think I accidentally figured out this mystery. After you pointed it out I kept noticing "rape" in the recent searches. Well earlier today I also saw "Monica Bellucci" in the recent searches. I thought that was an odd one, because I've seen next to no videos with her in them here, especially nothing in recent months, maybe even years. Anyway I clicked the Monica Bellucci tag and saw this video at the top. Lo and behold, it's a video about rape too. So I decided to read the comments, because I thought there surely must be some remarks about how controversial both this movie and this scene were, and I noticed this comment in particular. BINGO! He's right; people are coming here in search of a movie rape scene. "Rape" is a major source of searched-based traffic for VS.
So how about that? Think about what kind of lurkers we have? Makes me want to load a gun and wear a biohazard suit whenever I log in now.

English for Smarties (Blog Entry by lucky760)
Might want to check my link again. It cites the Oxford English Dictionary 2nd Edition 1989. So yes, it is in Oxford. darkrowan's link addresses this as well.

Does anything rhyme with elbow?
Hell no. Bilbo is the closest I could find, but not a full rhyme obviously.
>> ^darkrowan:
Sporange
Jargon doesn't count.
>> ^gwiz665:
"Door hinge" would like a word.
Not even close, though it might depend on your accent.
>> ^Skeeve:
"Chilver"
Not in Oxford so it must not be a real word. (Oxford has more credibility than the wiktionary.)
>> ^dystopianfuturetoday:
Whore binge?
Bingo! <insert Charlie Sheen joke here>

My theory about the High crime rate is that there's a lot of tourists there and others come to Vatican City to steal from the tourists. Pickpockets and such.
Bingo
Go forth and let it be known...I AM the rightest commenter on the sift!

Apple's Steve Wozniak: 'We've lost a lot of control'.
>> ^osama1234:
Personally, I find it amusing that the next generation of Steve Wozniaks are much harder to create given the crippling level of (some form or another of) proprietary/IP/DRM/hardware locks implemented by companies like Apple.
Bingo sir, bingo.

oh, enoch. you have got to be the most wonderful person to disagree with. it's not so much that i'm worried about hurting feelings, although that is of course a concern. it's more that i know how robust attitudes can be. so, the likelihood of changing anyone's mind, especially over a text medium, is unlikely. because of that, i often say nothing (other than the occasional knee-jerk "whaaat?!"), because prior experience has shown me that discussion results in nothing more than an endless back and forth dance of opinion.
there's nothing intrinsically wrong with that, but i just feel like i could invest my time better.
in any case, i'll respond on that thread, because i owe it to you and because you are so unbelievably kind-hearted i'd feel awful if i didn't. thankyou for being so caring.

i just don't get the bagging on psychology. science is HARD - science of human behaviour is INCREDIBLY HARD.
you know i love you right?
i responded..i do hope my run-on-sentence style does not detract from the point i was attempting to make.
comments can be so..limiting.
i stated in my comment but let me also state it here.
you have always been a thoughtful and respectful person with me and even though we may disagree you need to understand i respect very much the input you may wish to share.
i prefer to engage with someone i disagree with.it hones my skillz but more importantly it makes me look at my premise and understanding and disagreements force me to scrutinize and maybe re-evaluate my position.
i am quite aware that i do not know everything and discourse helps me form a clearer picture.the only way i can achieve that goal is by engaging someone who disagrees with me (and who is not mentally stunted).
why do you think i frequent a site populated by atheists?
bingo!..same reason.
i have offered you the opportunity to refute my opinions over the past 2 yrs and you have always politely refused.i can only surmise this is due to your assumption that i may get my feelings hurt.
noble but unnecessary.
i also presume that psychology is your field of study, which makes the prospect of discussing with you certain elements of your views and opinions that much more appealing.
you dont have to do anything of course and that is fine but please dont bow out from a discussion with me due to the fear i may have my feelings hurt.
if my fly was open would you allow me to wander with my wanked hanging out?
while i may be a tad embarrassed i will also be grateful.
think about it.
ah my friend..you are okie dokie in my book.
namaste.

TDS: "Deductible Me" (aka: Republican fail) 8/11/10
>> ^Winstonfield_Pennypacker:
Bingo Milk. You could easily cut 50% from government spending without really touching the important things governemnt does. The formula is lower taxes AND cutting spending. Doing only half of the formula can help, but in order for the miracle that is capitalism and free enterprise to work its wonders, the government has to stop being such a horrible anchor. Cut taxes (yes - for the rich too) and lower spending combined with freedom. This is the solution - not higher taxes, higher spending, and an all-intrusive nanny state.
lol

Yes that's right, blame the reluctant driver who probably never wanted to be in the car in the first place.
Bingo! My first thought also. Now she will hear about this again and again; every time he gets drunk.
