TRACTOR PULLS: It's Not What You Think - Smarter Every Day

newtboy says...

I’ve been to demolition derbies and monster truck shows in the 80’s where tractor pulls were part of the show, but not a pure tractor pull competition.
Yes, I had fun. It was back in the original Bigfoot days when monster trucks just drove over a few cars and everyone was amazed.

I still really want to go to the Mile of Mud in Florida and see swamp buggy racing in person before I die….but that means going to Florida in the summer.

This made me want to go hang out with southerners.

Has anyone been to a tractor pull, and is it fun?

I read and appreciate them, I always like to learn more, but would gladly see them go if it means keeping the game alive.

Thanks - worst-case I will just fill it with phrases but provide no extra info (which shows up once you've finished the puzzle), like background info, explanation, link, image, video.

Those are the bits that take the longest. Each phrase can become like a tiny research project. And I don't even know if it's worthwhile. No clue if people read those let alone appreciate them. 😀

😂
I wondered how you automated choosing phrases….I guess you didn’t, that’s how! I suppose another thanks is in order then, one for creating it, another for keeping it going! Double thanks!
Yeah, I probably play 5 a week on average. The short ones get hard!

I hope you can figure out a way to automate it completely, or at least to the point where you just need to authorize it’s choices once a week. I would hate you to burn out and for it to die.

You're still playing it?!

Awesome my friend. Thanks so much for the feedback!

It's become a bit of a burden because I still manually create every puzzle, so every night near midnight I start frantically trying to get the next puzzle ready.

😅

Come on @bobknight33. Now 68000 fake signatures found in the Michigan Republican primaries.
I guess wrong isn’t really wrong to you, now is it?
You are completely incapable of admitting election fraud is a feature of the Republican Party, not outliers, not a fluke, it’s the MO. The only way you can win elections. They know it, or they wouldn’t be cheating so much, and getting caught over and over and over and over and over…..

Stop ignoring it. Stop pretending (with zero evidence) that Democrats are just as guilty of election frauds when only Republicans are getting caught perpetrating these frauds against America. Stop the constant lies and grow up.

So again I’ll ask you, somewhere you can’t discard my question and feign ignorance this time….if vote stealing and election fraud is wrong, you support removing the Republicans from the gubernatorial ballot in Michigan for election frauds, right?
They forged thousands of signatures needed to be on the ballot, and by getting caught they handed the governor’s race to Democrats.

Do you have any examples of Democrats cheating (besides Clinton/Sanders) forging signatures, harvesting and filling out ballots, voting twice or more? Thought not. Maybe I never find “my team” doing wrong because they don’t do that kind of wrong….but Republicans get caught constantly.

Ouch. From $1222 to $702 and projected below $600. Gotta sting for anyone who took @bobknight33 ‘s advice, especially anyone “all in”.

The idea that it might bounce back like it once rose is naïve too…with serious production and labor issues and no longer being the only game in town, not even the best anymore by multiple different measurements, Tesla is looking like it’s bubble might be bursting.

Ouch.

And i saw their price target went from $1,200 to $1,000 now it's down to $600 as a target.

Good luck with where the price is at.

WHOOPS!
I didn't mean to end a sentence with a preposition. I will correct.

Good luck with where the price is at, asshole.
