In defence of E.T, The Extraterrestrial, although not a particularly good game it wasn't the worst game ever for the Atari 2600. It really did contribute to Atari's downfall though, since Atari management ordered 5 million copies of the cartridge (of which 3.5 million ended up being returned).

Fine. I'll say it. Halo is the worst game ever made. I played only the first but it sucked so bad I dare not play the others. All it was is identical hallway after identical hallway after identical hallway. Fuck you, XBOX "gamers".
