Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus

Man, Wheatus is amazing!!! I love this son (and the CD for that fact).

Serious? I remember picking up this album hoping it would be a supplementary Weezer-type record (SO STARVED FOR WEEZER IN THE LATE 90's), and being completely disappointed. The album was terrible, the single was catchy as hell.

Beaker Fail

I'm guessing the implied meme he's thinking of is that kid that does the split screen and is the inspiration for the beginning of Weezer's Pork & Beans video.

Oh, I think you're very wrong about only scripted gags being fail-able. Why would that be the case? I think any time anyone attempts anything and screws up it's a fail. E.g., a skateboarding kid trying an ollie but screws up and decapitates himself with his shoe laces: epic fail.

Here, our dear squeaky friend is attempting to pull off a classical music video but burns the place to hell in 6 separate recording sessions. I wouldn't call that success. Big time fail.

I haven't really had much time for new music. I've been listening to Grizzly Bear a lot still, they're on Letterman tonight I think. Battles seems interesting, although I've only really listened to the first 3 songs or so. Other than that, Raymond Scott and my friend's band Quiet Bears (4track folky goodness). Got anything new for me to try?

The hardest part about this song is that the chords don't switch very often so you have to hold them for a long time, which can really hurt your fingers. It's a great way to strengthen them up though.

After watching this video, I decided to learn how to play this on guitar, It can't be that hard even for a totally newbie like me?
