You're an evil man.

I've changed the title back to not including the word "men" in the hopes that more people will make the same assumption and receive the same shock.>> ^kymbos:
Sooo... what planet is Turkey on, then?
At first, having misread the title, I thought the row of girls standing at the back were going to get a mouthfull. Picture my surprise when it was the fat men in the crowd who were so eager for a taste.
I feel dirty just writing that.

Stephen Fry Quotes Oscar Wilde

messenger says...

I get the point of having too firm an idea of what you "are", and so blindly pursuing it, to your own doom. You don't need to become what you first dream of becoming, but not moving towards some goal, and just letting the fates decide is the surest path to misery.

So, I think Fry overstates his point. Did he never want to be an actor or a TV host? Does he consider himself nothing today, or does he feel punished?

Olbermann: 'Worst Persons' Segment Changing

MaxWilder says...

I like it. He's making a point that the violent rhetoric is out of hand and he will be doing his part to stop it. But he still needs an audience, and part of the pride of being on the left is a sense of superiority. I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean that people on the left feel that standing up and doing the right thing in a public and visible manner feels good, and encourages others to do the same. And when you are a tv host that caters mostly to the left, making positive changes visibly helps bring back in the viewers. When seen in that context, this is a rather minor thing.

Woody Harrelsons Penalty Shot vs. England

Asmo says...

Ahh, okay, my bad, I thought it was a UK rep side.

In that case, gogo Woody. =)

>> ^nanrod:

It wasn't a world class goalie. It was a charity event with celebrities and former players taking part and only celebrities took part in the shootout. Jamie Theakston the goalie is a TV host/presenter.

Deano says...

Indeed. Theakston can barely move from what I saw. Most of the match was boring but I managed to see the penalties.

Gordon Ramsay Eats Raw Puffin Bird Heart

EndAll says...

>> ^budzos:
As obnoxious as his american shows are, this clip right here shows why I love Gordon Ramsay as a man, and as a TV host. Most people on TV would go into great theatrics about how disgusting it was, and spend 3 or 4 minutes leading up to eating it and then 3 to 4 minutes on their reaction, making faces, trying to rinse it down... mainly I'm thining of those Top Gear idiots doing the same thing. Gordon Ramsay spends 20 seconds on it and moves on, like a real fucking man.

Also note how when putting the puffin breast on the grill, he lets his hands soak in the flames to situate it right. Completely unfazed.
