Trump is going to be your nominee, that’s a given, he took over the party, but it bears noting he is not attracting new voters, not one. He’s playing HARD to his base, but not one bit to centrists, undecided voters, and especially not to Trump voters that switched to Biden. Can you think of a single person who is pro Trump today that wasn’t pro-Trump on Jan 6? He has the second hurdle of Covid, because MAGgots were infected and died at a 75% higher rate than democrats in the same areas, so hundreds of thousands more Trump voters simply don’t exist now or are disabled…directly because of Trump policies. He’s only lost supporters since his failed coup too, and all those RINOS (by which I mean actual republicans that hate Trump’s narcissistic fascism, hatred, division, and stupidity) aren’t voting for Trump. This all assumes he’s not in prison by election time…it’s clear avoiding prison is the only reason he’s running.

MAGA has turned out to be a comedy troupe, like the keystone cops but without the “trying to do the right thing” part. Keep it up, it’s incredibly gratifying watching the fascist MAGgot party crumble under the oppressive weight of their own hatred and stupidity. The massively unpopular 6 week national abortion ban promise from all your candidates for president guarantee you a loss, but you’re too dumb to see it. Loving those MAGA tears, so yummy!

Call me old school but the material is always so weak in most of these socio-ethnic commentary videos, for lack of a better term. They get an HD camera and some troupe and it all looks slick but rarely does anyone have a talent for writing something better than a college freshman could have produced. It usually ends up being a premise in search of a writer.

I just watched DV8 Physical Theatre's filmed performance of John. Part of the National Theatre of London's series shown in movie theaters around the world.

Spoken word paired with dance.

The only dancer/actor who lost his breath was the baby of the troupe, looked like he was in his early 20's. The older actors were phenomenal in their ability to do the most intricate physical moves while speaking. Nary a huff or puff to be heard.

I only mention this to urge one and all to go see this show. It is fricking awesome.

Just happened to have WKUK 3rd season on pause.. I miss these guys, one of the best comedy troupes of all ages.

For your information I liked the clown nose, it sold the costume. It was not boring, maybe by societies NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW ! thought process. I liked the build up.
I do not know what the music is, but it sure is fantastic. That also sold it for me.

Actually, with Holodecks and replicators, you could live perfectly happily in little rooms, always have enough to eat and drink, live out every fantasy, borrow other people's fantasies, the human population would basically have no need for anything but a single small planet with billions of little rooms covering it, and effectively you'd have the matrix.

However, having been watching TNG on Netflix off and on for the last several weeks the point about there being no new creative works in the future is just plain false. It seems anytime they spout off a list of great works of history they always mention at least one or two works that haven't been 'created' yet. And they regularly would take poets and artists on board.. they play classical music and Dr Crusher leads dance classes and a small theater troupe.

Still, the Matrix thing really would be the end of civilization.
