Damn it!
I would have loved a car with that suspension. That's is seriously smooth.
EASY Pinewood Derby Car WINS using Science!!!
I sent this to my brother, who is a complete nut in his approach to pinewood derby cars. Artistic and over-engineered. He has a GRAND time.
His response to me:
I enjoyed his presentation.
I went one more step. Our track at church is not perfectly machined aluminum but is instead bumpy wood. My cars had a suspension system cut into the very thin wood. They would not bounce. People suggested a fund raiser for a new track. I said, "No Way, I like that track."
The Horror Of "Cloverfield" Vs. The Time Looping Of "Primer"
Well done, full of suspense(at least for me it was). *promote
USAF Band WWII Holiday Flashback
Nice medley, but I always lose my suspension of disbelief when a WW2 era performance includes an inter-racial couple. It just stands out as something you wouldn't see back then, just like if someone just pulled out their cell phone and started texting. Just because it's a part of our history we aren't proud of is no reason to white wash over it, in fact I feel it's all the more reason to remember how we were back then, so we don't go backwards, and to help keep in mind that, as repressed as we are as a society, we've come a long way, baby.

Gee Atherton Tests INSANE MTB Trail
Back in my riding days, I rode trails like this, but without the big jumps, on my road racing 14 speed bike with thin knobbies. No suspension and the wrong style handlebars change EVERYTHING! I'm still impressed my front forks never broke, and that I never went over a cliff. I usually went over the front of the bike at least once per ride, though.
Ahhhh, youth. It's wasted on the young.
Krampus-Official Trailer
Lots of people don't like jump scares. That's the same as saying they don't like suspense. A well-executed jump scare with a good build up, an atmospheric environment, perhaps a little misdirection and a satisfying payoff is a masterclass of tension and release.
Seems like they're going to rely on a bunch of jump scares.
San Antonio football players target ref after a bad call.
Hopefully assault charges will follow the suspensions.

This is pretty cool, kind of the opposite of the usual meaning of the term a spanner in the works![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/smile.gif)

On a road racing bike, how does he does these stunts?
Only time you'll ever see a road biker with flat pedals![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/smile.gif)
)
My initial response was that this is mental, but it isn't that insane when you think about it. Trials bikes are almost closer to road bikes than mountain bikes these days (rim brakes, no suspension, etc), so the skills would transfer.
Just goes to show it's the rider, not the bike. (which explains why I still suck at mountain biking even on my flash new bike
BTW, just to clarify, this isn't a road bike who decided to try these stunts, it's a (world class) trials biker who decided to try it on a road bike.
