Rock & Roll is a thing that needs to die (Rocknroll Talk Post)
Just because they couldn't master it, doesn't mean Rock & Roll needs to die. This is a band that plays musical styles such as surf rock, Persian, Arabic, Indian, death metal and electronic music. I'm gonna have to bet on them sucking and Rock & Roll staying strong.
Rock & Roll ain't noise pollution, Rock & Roll will never die!

Go!Go!7188 - Manatsu no Dance Hall
lol, about the most surf-rocky thing about aa seisyun is just the fact that the video is shot on a beach, though Yuu does like doing those old-school surf rock things like at the beginning of this one's solo (hell, the whole solo in manatsu no dance hall is pretty surf rock, lol), but yeah, definitely a talaneted band. I tried sifting the aoi kiretsu PV a while back, hope this one makes it out of the queue.
Go!Go!7188 - Manatsu no Dance Hall
I was only talking about influences (as in Aa Seishun). But you are right : Go!Go!7188 isn't a surf rock band even if "it" is commonly (wrongly) said.
Btw, I think we're agree about the fact that they are talented
Go!Go!7188 - Manatsu no Dance Hall
No, I'm very very familiar with their entire discography, and while there are definitely a few moments, like the solo of this song, that have an interesting surf rock influence to the sound, they never realy were surf rock.
Go!Go!7188 - Manatsu no Dance Hall
When the hell was GO!GO! a surf rock band?
Also, you should add this to the Rock'n'Roll channel as well.
The Atlantics - Bombora
