Now is about the time where I relate a recent police violation I experienced in the past 3 months, but who gives a shit, I'm white and rarely in trouble. I only get in trouble because I'm a night owl that walks around at 3 in the morning, occasionally being subjected to an unlawful search.

Police training needs an overhaul and they need to have their authority stripped. They should answer directly to a higher authority, because police are made up on common citizens that I DO NOT TRUST.

I'm sure plenty of hippies got pushed to the ground by cops when they tried to share their "groovy trip" with the world, like this flower child is doing. What did he expect, the cops to join in and kick off a "Fame" dance number in the street? Walk a mile in their shoes, cop hatred is actively trending and then tinker-bell sneaks up behind them and starts acting erratically. If some drunk snuck up behind one of your family in the street and started acting like this guy I suspect your language and actions would match these guys.

By the way it would have been nice to have witnessed an actual shove to the ground. I saw a shove, then the guy on the ground. With the intentionally evil music applied to the scene I'll consider this guy a drama queen until shown otherwise.

there's a key word in my explanation (which the definition is posted in another comment); Under exigent circumstances, meaning using the excuse of "oh.. we're just looking for someone" isn't considered under that label. Also, probable cause can be used in a search without a warrant (i.e. shots reported in a building etc..).

Secondly, the entire city of Boston was on lockdown under a Public Safety measure (no martial law was called at the time), but national guard was patrolling the search area and aiding local enforcement. Anyone found on the streets walking around was instantly stopped and carded for info.

Again, the searches were not unwarranted and they were not illegal. They only searched the houses in the search area, they proceeded with by the book maneuvers. No one was mishandled in the searches from what I see in that video or any other account.
