Shroomer Gets Arrested

Mauru says...

Have to say it's a good thing not seeing internet-cops beat the crap out of individuals for a change.

The cops taking their time is a good thing IMHO:
I'd rather be lying contained on some dude's lawn blabbering nonsense to strangers with rubber gloves than tripping lonely in some jail cell.
Plus, police probably saved themselves a lot of trouble getting him in the back of a cruiser and back to the department in his state.

S'ok, i got it.

Yeah, some dude who doesn't live at his home. He lives at someone else's home, moving on each day. Like the littlest hobo.

Man Faces Jail Time for Recording Plainclothes Cop

Porksandwich says...

I could see them using it to protect the identities of plainsclothes or undercover police, but then again these same individuals would not be pulling their car into the pathway of other other vehicles and getting out gun in hand......since it kind of makes it hard not to notice them.

I suspect that they want the audio taken out of the video and it destroyed......so that when that guy decides to countersue for extreme and dangerous action being taken to stop a speeder...there won't be multiple seconds of an armed individual on there not identifying himself as police as he bears down on his unsuspecting victim.

I have never seen an unmarked vehicle pull someone over in that way, and usually they have hidden red and blues on the vehicle they can use....which he did not. If the marked car was there, there was no need for armed assailant to leave his vehicle to begin with. Marked car could have easily flipped on his lights and pulled the guy over.

I suspect plain clothes got a little road rage from motorcycle dude, and decided to vent it off in a spectacular "bust". After he calmed down, he realized he might be in real trouble if motorcycle dude or marked car officer decides he acted in an extreme and unsafe manner. I think the video proves this.

Lot of scummy police out there, they can film you with their dash cam (WITH AUDIO!)...I don't see why you can't film them in return.

And as for dude rolling his motorcycle back away from car who just cut into his path? I would have reversed my vehicle if it looked like some dude was trying to box me in or cause problems as well. It's a natural reaction to try to avoid collisions, and dude cutting across your path isn't showing the best judgment (Read: Whack job)...and then he gets out of the vehicle with a gun (Read: Armed Whack Job). He should be scared because I don't think I would have given armed whack job a chance to identify himself when he's already got the gun in his hand. Because that dude looks like he's got a bad case of road rage doing what he did there.

Dancer in tiger costume messes around during ballet recital

Those elephants were not impressed. I felt sorry for everyone else taking it seriously. Imagine if that was the peak of your career, you're putting it all in, and some dude in a tiger outfit is cracking everyone up coz he doesn't give a shit. Then again, you've chosen to prance around in tights for a living, so... I'm torn.

Standing Your Ground Against Police

RadHazG says...

I'm with overcast on this one a bit. It's perfectly legal to carry a camera around, film whatever and to open carry a gun (in that state). Just because you *can* doesn't mean you necessarily *should*.
Any cop on any beat in any state with any sense of self preservation and duty to protect the people is going to take notice and be suspicious of some dude walking around with a gun in open carry, whether its legal to do so or not. If he had an obvious purpose for the gun such as being at a gun show or near a shooting range or what have you, fine. Ready answer at hand. but he's in a rural area and from the cops point of view is a random person carrying a firearm with apparently no obvious reason for doing so.
Agreed the cop was a bit of a dick and lied about certain things but he was probably just about as nervous as the camera guy sounds, if anything he has a right be be more nervous from some random dude walking around with a gun. He may not have anything solid to make an arrest or anything serious but it IS his job to make sure this wasn't some nutjob walking around that might pull out the gun and start randomly shooting people the second he's out of sight.

Wow. Really loved that!
I have only opened the Chat Roulette website once (with my camera off), and when I saw some dude "looking at me" I felt really creeped out and turned it off immediately. Just too old fashioned I guess.

Makes me wanna do this with a variety of masks and props-Lucky?? You just wanna be able to look into people's bedrooms or party villas with their clothes off and package's a-slappin', but you don't want them to look.....hmmmmm--

Don't Slap Romanian Cops

I was raised not to hit women. In my core I think it's wrong, though I think it's a terribly biased and arcane belief. Once in high school during a breakup my ex-girlfriend started wailing on me and trying desperately to kick me in the nuts. I wanted to defend myself, but felt I couldn't outside trying to catch her arms before they hit me.
I think in the deep recesses of my mind, I watch this and feel some sense of perverted justice for all the times a girl was violent against me and I felt I couldn't retaliate.
Also, how many times has a woman put your ass in danger by mouthing off to some dude? And all of a sudden you have to fight to defend her honor or some crazy archaic primal bullshit like that.

I was raised the same way, but whenever something like that happened to me, I found the best possible way to resolve the situation (And I actually mean this in all seriousness)

Was a hug.

After a few seconds of taking a hit or two, I'd grab an arm, spin them so their back was to me and hold their arms in a "Hug" type of stance.

It was almost an instant de-escalator. They're either forced to talk about why they were taking swings at me in the first place, or too embarrassed to keep going because they got beat by a hug.

In this situation mind you, I don't think the hug would go so well.
