Friday The 13th Part 6: Jason Lives - The Opening Scene
For a cheap slasher movie, this film had some nice production value. Good music, lighting, and better than average acting. "Tommy" also starred in Return of the Living Dead, my other favourite horror flick from the eighties.
My Bloody Valentine Trailer (1981)

Wes Craven's "Scream"
Has anyone else ever imagined a slasher movie where the masked murderer calls, announces his presence menacingly, and then breaks through the glass door just in time to catch two rounds of double-ought buckshot square in the chest from his would-be victim's 12-gauge? Hmmm....
Jason X: The Death of Adrienne
Wow... that totally made me remember why I don't watch slasher movies.
Life cereal: Mikey likes it!
Great post! In the slasher movie 'Urban Legend', Robert Englund is a university lecturer who gives a lecture on Urban Legends in which he talks about Mikey. The students say that Mikey died from consuming Pop Rocks while drinking Coca-Cola. While he informs them that this is simply an urban legend they are still reluctant to volunteer to drink Cola and eat Pop Rocks at the same time.
How collectives broke the sift (Sift Talk Post)
Yes, kids with new toys, that is the best way to phrase it. I think once more collectives have been made and we've all tired of the novelty, things will even out. I know right now it seems like every other vid is for the horrorshow, or features a puppy or a kitty, but that is just because collective members are racing to submit their favorites right away... once everyone has posted their favorite slasher flick or their favorite kitty vs technology vid then we'll have to look harder for vids that fit within the collectives and things will slow down... that's just how I see it anyway.
Terror Train Trailer
I can't remember what if anything happened to him. What I do remember is the reaction of the group of girls that were sitting around me when I saw this. The gore wasn’t that convincing, but the girls had a fit anyway.
A high school social club I belonged to showed movies on certain nights. This was one of several slasher-flicks released about the same time.
Japanese girl with ghost in the mirror (fake??)
Has anyone seen Spiral? I'm sure everyone's seen The Grudge. (Japanese version) They make spooky films that actually work. Not the lame slasher flicks the U.S. makes.
Never wash another dish again. Make them fresh instead.
Enviro-friendly turned evil as the tree-slashers toss their pretty red bowls daily and just make more!
Garbage Day!
This is from Silent Night Deadly Night 2. Sucky film. However part 1 was pretty good, still laughable though. Came out with a XMAS slasher after the success of halloween 1,2 and 3. Any movie where santa kills a dad and rapes the mom needs to be watched.
