Sarah Palin's Greatest Hits! [TPMtv]
To expand on what the big v said, No, people should not stop posting the "Palin is a moron" vids because that's exactly what the GOP wants. They would love nothing more than to change the subject and get us talking about something else. That's what their whole campaign is banking on - the short attention span of most Americans.
I hope volumptuous and others like him keep posting vids like this up until election day. As long as she's out in the open, she's going to be a target, and its up to people like us to make sure that the shots are taken, and that she is shown to be what she really is - a person who is NOT qualified, NOT ready, NOT able to handle the role that is in front of her.
It is INSULTING to the American people that this is the best that the GOP have to offer - the man who finished 894th out of 899 cadets in his class, and a woman who took 5 years to finish a 4-year degree in communications-journalism. These are NOT smart people by any stretch of the imagination, at a time when we NEED smart people behind the helm of this country. After 8 long years of Bushisms, inarticulate speeches, fear-mongering and cronyism, we NEED something better than what the GOP decided was good enough.

i think "short attention span" should be renamed "too much cool stuff to make it worth spending more than 5 minutes on any one thing"
i don't think we are lazy, if anything we like short clips because then we can see more of them.
Palin was for 'Bridge to Nowhere'
"Straight talk express" in action. They are preying on the typical US citizen's short attention span. Facts are not a concern of these people. Winning an election to put cash into their pockets is.
Retro Boss Fights
That's neat. I've played most of these games, but thanks to my short attention span I think I've only seen two or three of those bosses.![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/smile.gif)
TOP 10 OMGWTF moments from video games
Have we come to the point of short attention span when a three minute top 10 list needs a recap before we hit #1?
Hooray for lists, #2 and #10 are tops for me.
Iraq story buried by US networks
The lack of coverage by big media is, sadly, nothing new. It's great to see it condemned, though I think the daily show manages to do so more effectively, and it's a comedy program. I like the RealNews(all news actually) better when it's doing news rather than editorializing.
As for reading more into the lack of Iraq coverage as to any pro-war agenda, remember that the media's short attention span is equal opportunity with everything. The Iraq-Iran war, the gassing of the Kurds, Cambodia, Serbia, Rwanda and so on.

You're welcome. I love watching dance, particularly modern dance and the performance with the Solaris music was excellent. Keep 'em coming, I have a power point handy!

thanks for supporting the dance vids! there's more where all that came from. i'm trying not to post it all too close together since the sift seems to have a short attention span for that kind of thing.

Evolution of the Eye Made Easy
Alright Dave, I will bite.
Before I read your comment I will give you some basic advise: keep it short. Make your points clear and outline them simply.
1. Delineate your thoughts and your points with 'returns'.
2. If you cite a source, leave a link.
3. Don't copy and paste without quotes.
This is an internet forum, and people like me have short attention spans. Make it easy for people to engage your comments and raise counter points. I am downvoting your comment for these reasons.

Oh yeah, and about the nature of all the comments on the Sift- This is the only place that I bother to read them, too. Though there still get to be so many on certain videos, and people leave so many comments trying to reiterate what they're saying it can become tedious trying to work through them, I believe that it shows a strong amount of integrity in the comments over all. Generally intelligible sentences from everyone, and not too often do we degenerate into epic rants where we try to repeat ourselves from every possible angle. (it's more a matter of etiquette than anything, depending on how you believe your comment is being recieved.) Maybe we could leave some tips somewhere about leaving good comments... ah yeah I'm sure they're in the FAQ now aren't they? Which we've all memorized, right?
Sure there will always be people who just spout out their first response no matter how many other people have already said it. You can't stop that, but you can learn to identify it for yourself, and realize that there's no need to get all defensive because someone with a different point of view has a small cadre of short-attention-spanned followers. It's actually slightly embarrassing when you see even people you agree with lambaste the comment column in a drunken fashion.
So cheers to you all, and thanks for the well-natured and concerned comments you've all left somewhere.
