Is this Sexual Harrassment?

Sagemind says...

I agree, though my comment was somewhat rhetorical.

>> ^rosekat:

Sometimes it's both. They all require reprogramming, this is unacceptable in the workplace!>> ^Sagemind:
Is she harassing them by taunting them, or are they harassing her by thinking sexy thoughts while she innocently eats her pop-cycle?

UFC Fighter Awkwardly Dry Humps Reporter During Interview

Mindfuck says...

>> ^thepinky:
Ew. I find this very unpleasant. No one in the clip seems to have a problem with this behavior. The woman encourages it (perhaps "ring girls" are used to it) and then she thanks him for both the interview and the dry humping. "Yes, I am an attractive female dressed in sexy clothing. You therefore have permission to violate me in any way you wish. I have no problem with sexual harrassment, because I am an object of pleasure." I think they are both kind of perverse and have little to no respect for themselves. As long as they stick together and stay away from me and mine, they are welcome to behave like ehem idiots.

You are just mad because you are ugly and would never get humped like that.

In reply to this comment by dystopianfuturetoday:
In January 2010, O'Keefe and three editors of conservative college publications were arrested by the FBI[8][9] at the federal offices of Senator Mary Landrieu for impersonating phone-company workmen and attempting to tamper with or wiretap Landrieu's phone lines.[10] The initial felony charges were reduced to a misdemeanor, and O'Keefe pled guilty and was sentenced to three years' probation, 100 hours of community service and was fined $1,500.[11]

Thanks for droppin' some facts.

the total costs of the 'clinton blowjob' investigation also include years' worth of whitewater investigations begun under independent counsel robert fiske -- ken starr replaced him, and then further investigations were tacked on... namely travelgate, filegate, and finally the paula jones civil suit leading to the breaking of the lewinsky story...
the total pricetag for seven years of multiple investigations? approximately 70 to 80 million
let's also keep in mind that it wasn't 'clinton getting a blowjob' that incurred these expenses, rather that there were shady land deals, as well as questionable firings of whitehouse travel staff, and improper access of fbi files... being investigated parallel to his sexual harrassment (paula jones) case while arkansas governor - the latter led to lewinsky... and it was then that clinton was charged with PERJURY and OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE.... not just getting a bj
the cost of the lewinsky portion of the investigation, and that which caused the two above charges, is estimated at 6.7 to 7.2 million dollars
the total cost of the 9-11 investigation was 12 million dollars... 3 million initially allocated, and another 9 million of a requested 11 million allocated later
finally, as to the 'gop spen[ding] more money' ... well, the original investigation was initiated at clinton's request... through janet reno, who was appointed by clinton himself -- and reno appointed fiske, and then fiske was replaced--using a law of special counsel (originally created by a democrat-controlled congress in 1978) reenacted by clinton--by starr who was appointed by an independent three-judge panel to continue the whitewater investigation - also remember that starr had previously been the leading candidate for a us supreme court seat, but was deemed 'not conservative enough' by the gop... and therefore h.w. bush nominated david souter
yeah, there was monkey-business besides clinton and a cigar, but let's not forget the basic facts

Why muddy your propaganda with facts, escpecially when the fact don't support you.

100 Mill Spent Investigating Clinton But Only 4 Mill On 911

although i find it hard not to respect mr. ventura, i think his numbers are a bit off... or misleading

besides a little trouble with the numbers... still, i think mr ventura makes his point

American girl flips the bird, throws drink in dudes face...

thepinky says...

Why has almost everyone come to the conclusion that this woman is a bitch?

If you listen to the very beginning of the video very carefully, you can hear her say, "...[indistinct] a hotdog?" I'm thinking that whatever these guys did to her probably wasn't very nice and involved some sexual harrassment. Did you also notice the other guy's hand on the back of her neck? Her next comment is immature, but then he starts moving toward her AS SHE WALKS AWAY before she even flips him off. And then he makes some unseen gestures at her and mutters something, she says she doesn't care, he calls her a bitch, and then flicks his hand at her face. He deserved everything he got and that woman was just reacting, trying (and failing) to keep her dignity, and defending herself from those pricks.

I can't believe that anyone could think that the leg sweep was justified.

Girl beats dude in wrestling

kronosposeidon says...

^Did the crowd that was there not act slightly astonished at the outcome?

And is "I kid you not" synonymous with "Oh my fucking God in heaven! This is a fucking miracle! This has to be CGI because there's NO WAY a girl could beat a guy, and why isn't she in the kitchen in the first place?" Maybe, but probably not. More likely it means, "Mmm, I did not expect that."

Believe whatever you want about what my four little words meant. Just remember that beliefs don't always convert to reality. This isn't church. It's just a video with a harmless title, unless you're hyper-sensitive.

Just because someone claims he or she is being sexually harrassed doesn't mean it's always so. And just because someone says that the outcome shouldn't be surprising doesn't mean that most people won't be surprised. Hence my usage of the four little words that shook the Sift.

Wait, you say the Sift is NOT shaken because of four words!? But I just wrote it, and if it's written then it MUST be true!

Nobody cares.

Playgirl Comes to the End of Its Road

moodonia says...

Wow I'm away for a few hours and look what happens... I was done with this until I happened to see the words sexual harassment. He accuses me of sexual harrassment and then says "The End". Like thats it?

Ok I was being calm and relatively civil (I've already heavily edited out the profanity) I'm a fairly passive person, I didnt rise to the bait of threats but being accused of SEXUAL HARRASSMENT!!! Wtf is this? I'm ready to tear a fucking phonebook in half sitting here!

I'm a couple of years coming to this site, I never messed with anybody, screwed with their vids or anything else and now this fucking tool is throwing around threats and sexual harrassment accusations

WTF? I better not write anymore, all opinions welcome
