Farhad2000 (Member Profile)
Hey Farhad.. any chance you could add that clip to the gay channel? And while I'm at it.. can I shamelessly plug another vid of theirs I just sifted (which I thought was on here already, but can't seem to find)?

Many thanks.

Sigur Rós are an Icelandic post-rock band with melodic, classical and minimalist elements. The name is Icelandic for "victory rose" and is pronounced "see oor roce". The band is known for their ethereal sound and lead singer Jónsi’s falsetto. Some of the band's contemporaries include múm and Amiina; both of which hail from the same creative and vibrant Icelandic post-rock music scene.

Your welcome.
You know you can create your own playlists too?!? You should be able to do that from your profile.

How collectives broke the sift (Sift Talk Post)
The power of the sift will still continue despite the collectives. No where have I seen a collective owner send out a mass call to promote or block a particular video...yes, there's a potential but there'd be a huge backlash. Most of us are members of most of the same collectives. Private profile comment politics? Sure, but I bet that's been going on long before the collectives began.
The collectives are a way to explore genres. Take today's surge of Horror movie trailers, they've always been out there, today we are just celebrating them. And you're right, I don't think I'd have ever posted Dirty Dancing: The Last Dance if I hadn't been prompted by membership to the '80s collective. Ultimately, it did make the front page so I'm glad I posted it after all.
I've tried to split my submissions up so that I don't only post Rock & Roll. I do bet that I'm not the only person who realizes that doing so would ultimately make my posts (me) boring and repetitive. God forbid.
Anyway, the elitist angle has been brought up before. I've already invited new members whose submissions matched my collective, and will try to automatically invite any more comers. Maybe others could do the same?
Introducing the Gayest Sport on Earth!
Homophobic??? Doesn't that imply an unnatural fear of Homo's??
What's the word for wanting them to go back into the closet, whenever they attempt push some innane, ineffectual, diversive legeslation down the throats of the hetero-majority, (time, immemorial) making issues out of non-issues, and whining about how little respect or additional priveliges they don't get.....oh yeah...Asshole
This Post rocks!
outta queue!
Rammstein - "Sonne" (Awesome German Industrial Metal)
What in the hell was all that you just said? Nah j/k, I'm an old man and I like Rammstein. But I *also* like jazz and blues and lounge and post-rock/instrient ambimental tectronic.. uh... whatever you said.
Rammstein - "Sonne" (Awesome German Industrial Metal)
Heh.. actually, believe it or not, I'm not really THAT into any kind of metal at all. I'm more into Post-rock/instrumental, ambient, electronic and trance. =D
