How to Seed a Pomegranate with NO mess!
I love pomegranates. I look forward to them every holiday season just as I look forward to the eggnog. And all these years I've never known the proper way to get at those seeds without making a major mess.
But now I know.
How to Seed a Pomegranate with NO mess!
i love eating pomegranate but after eating like 10 kernels/seeds/whatever they are called, my mouth is tired and tounge is in blisters.
How to Seed a Pomegranate with NO mess!
I learned this method in the US before I came to Thailand. Here, pomegranates are much more common and cheap, so I eat them pretty regularly. The weird thing is that here, they are dead easy to open, and way less messy. I'm not sure if it is just a difference in the level of ripeness, or if they are a different variety, or what. The kernels are more clear with a slight rosy tint to some of them, as opposed to deep red like in the US. Most importantly, squeezing them doesn't release juice as easily. You can handle the membranes and pick out kernels without much risk of popping them at all. And the taste, excellent!

2 bowls and 1 plate = no mess...

Idd... this is just moving the mess to another place.

So, I promoted your old vid without checking to see if it was still alive. I can't remember exactly what scene(s) it was, though. Choggie listed a couple of replacements in the comments, and there are several others to choose from out there as well.
btw: what happened to the pomegranate?

Thanks, that was great. Good to see they're still at it, too. Glad you like the pomegranate. I love the flavour, but they're so chewy...

Hey there --
I noticed that you voted for the trailer for 10 MPH (about a Segway roadtrip across America) a while ago...
Well, the filmmakers have posted the ENTIRE FILM online and I just submitted it to the Sift. Enjoy!

P.S. I love your profile handle & pic together. Only the well-read get it.
Kate Bush - This Womans Work
@persephone, yeah he's like early to mid forties, so for me that'd be correct. Yusuf's Tea for Tillerman always takes me way back. Love Pomegranates that's a cute avatar, looks like a pomegranate kiss.
Behold: the Atheists' Nightmare - the banana - "has a point at the top for easy entry"
Oh god, pomegranates... I bought one ONCE. Never again.

And your avatar strongly resembles a pomegranate. Are you a pomegranate?

Hi Lisa,
I know what you mean about how the real thing sometimes doesn't stack up to its reputation/image. I saw your reply in the Bladerunner-Opening thread. Are you sure it's Tricky's Aftermath? I listened to a sample of it on Amazon, and it's not the song I remember.

Yes, that's it, Kelly. (http://www.moma.org/collection/browse_results.php?object_id=80997) I saw it in London when I was on a college trip in the late '70s. It was in the big "Dada and Surrealist Reviewed" show at the Hayward Gallery along with Duchamps urinal, 'natch! It's like when you see celebrities in person and they seem really small and norma l It's kind of ratty looking. You can see where the skin and the glue used has yellowed and dried...hey, it happens to all of us right? Haven't been to the new, improved MoMA yet, I'm more apt to be outside on the street selling my own art, but it's free on Fridays from 4-8pm so there's no excuses!
I love your avatar, and pomegranates, and am intrigued by what eden wrote. I need to look that up!

“Hi Lisa,
I was trying to remember where I saw your avatar pic before. I just found it in an old art book. Is it Meret Oppenheim's 'Object' at The Museum of Modern Art, NY? Is it still at the museum? Is it a photo, or an actual object? (haven't been there yet..)
