Oh SHIT! VonShitzenpants violated the gag order last night AFTER the second contempt hearing where he was informed the next violation will mean incarceration, reposting others making (false) statements about Merchan’s daughter and court staff and the gag order.
Still waiting for the other courts, he violated every release order in every court including Cannon’s when he was found guilty of 9 counts of CRIMINAL CONTEMPT, a crime and violation of his release conditions. You claim he’s treated unfairly, why isn’t he in jail then, like any other citizen would be by now? We all agreed that people who commit more crimes while on pre trial release should be remanded…but you cultishly don’t agree when it’s Dummy VonShitzenpants. 😂

Uh-oh! SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE …Trump media’s replacement financial auditor (replaced the real auditors who declared serious concern about the information they were being provided and the viability of the company then quit) has been charged with massive frauds, 100% deficient audits (21/21 audited had major omissions or misstatements or “errors” that drastically effected the audit results), and a total lack of complying with basic standards. The SEC called them a “sham audit mill”. Who could have predicted that? EVERYONE! 😂

Dominoes are falling.

Ken Cheseboro just plead guilty to felonies and agreed to testify against Trump. He’s the third.
This days after Kraken Powell did the same. She’s probably the reason he turned, and they are why the other 16 co-conspirators now thinking about taking a deal…they know those two have all the information needed to convict. D’OH!!!

All the co-defendants are admitting they tried to steal the fair and legitimate election that they knew Trump LOST! Not a good look in a RICO case.

What you gonna do now? Still believe Trump? Probably. 🤦‍♂️

Bonus- Wieselberg is caught red handed not turning over emails (and lying on the stand about his knowledge) that are part of his plea deal, which now triggers a forensic investigation of his and the Trump organization emails, and if omissions are found that’s more obstruction AND a violation of Wieselberg’s plea agreement. Too bad Forbes kept and supplied those emails…maybe Trump shouldn’t have gone off on them when he fell off the Forbes richest Americans list? 😂

Grave Diggers “Can Hardly Keep Up With Demand"

newtboy says...

So, absolutely nothing new.
2016 277 murders in Philly
2020 500 murders in Philly.
1990 500 murders in Philly.
2022 300 murders 2/3 of the way through the year (and fewer happen in winter there, no one is outside) so the murder rate is DROPPING slightly, on track for 450 this year.
Sure sounds like the murder rate exploded again under Republicans rule, @bobknight33, not Biden as this implies (agreed, last year was the worst number by a few). Not an outright lie, but a lie by omission.

Sure sounds like Philly would benefit from stronger gun regulations….especially mental health restrictions.

If [Durham Filing] Is True, It's A Lot Bigger Than Watergate

bcglorf says...

He carefully leaves out the most important part about the network traffic they took from the office of the President.

The lawyer, Sussman, is being accused of lying in a Sept. 2016 interview about whom all he was working for.

He was indeed working for the Clinton campaign amongst other groups. It also appears there is compelling evidence that he was working with Tech staff with access to Whitehouse internet data.

Remember though, the interview is in September 2016, while the sitting president was Barack Obama. The lawyer was working for the Clinton campaign and presumably the DNC, because they were investigating the Russian hack of their email and computer systems...

But Fox and anyone willing to be compliant like Sen Cruz are tripping over themselves to make sure they fuel the false conception that Trump was spied on in the white house.

If you watch Cruz words here, he chooses them terrifically carefully to leave ambiguous the timing of the allegations about the whitehouse data to leave the impression by omission.

TX law & tattoos

newtboy says...

You certainly pretended to be, and pretended to have first hand knowledge of the situation, and knowledge of what all Texan Christians all think on the subject. Turns out you don't know shit first hand, and are arguing based on uninformed opinions you hold, not knowledge. It's called a lie by omission.

Texans didn't vote for this, their representatives did. You are telling Texans what to think and do....insisting because a majority are Christian they must be anti choice, and since pro choice people lost one battle they should just leave Texas, but the same doesn't go for Texans who are anti choice and had lost every battle until this one. See how infantile your argument is now?

America is a representative democracy....a democratic republic, not a democracy. Some places like California have direct voter approved laws, so are partly democratic, but mostly representatives choose our laws and path. Assuming that because one person wins an election means all their voters approve of everything they do shows a naivete usually reserved for pre kindergarten kids.

Lol when did I ever say I'm Christian or from Texas or even from the Un-United States of America...

"who knows what people in Texas should think" lol that is what you numbnuts are doing. Bitching about a law being implemented that you don't agree with and telling Texans what to think.

I'm just pro democracy and anti abortion, mocking the morons that's purposely bringing down their own country from within. Its so sad/pathetic what you guy's have become in just 5 years. Rome is burning and yet you are still at each others throats...

Change The Name' Of Confederate Statue Removal Bill

newtboy says...

They are removals of statues of confederates who denounced their part in America. No longer democrats, confederate traitors.

Another dishonest Republican pretending he isn’t in the party of racism today and for the last 50 years. Pretending it isn’t only Republicans trying to preserve confederate monuments to sedition and treason. Pretending the Southern strategy didn’t switch positions of both parties. Most Americans aren’t as ignorant of their history as you, bob, or the present...we all know what you’re trying here, but it only works on people who didn’t finish 8th grade and don’t know any American history. Go back to Parlor.

Disgracefully dishonest, @bobknight33....I expect nothing more from you. You are a liar, sir.

Why are you so dishonest, Bob. Are reality and honesty that hard to bear? You know, and we all know you know this is bullshit lies by omission. It only proves the point that Republicans know reality is against them and they don’t have an honest argument to make when you post this dishonest stupidity.

The real history of the kkk. Democrats leave this out

newtboy says...

How many times are you going to try this dishonest lie by omission, because you leave out the southern strategy (actually you just deny it, la la la la la, neverhappened neverhappened, lalalalala), when the parties switched sides on social issues. After the 60's Republicans courted white racist southerners as Democrats supported civil rights for everyone.
Every single klansman today affiliated with a political party chose Republican. Every neo Nazi with a party preference chooses Republicans. Every white supremacist that votes voted Republican. +-8% of "black" voters voted Republican. They aren't as stupid as you think, people know which party doesn't think black lives matter.

This propaganda is technically correct, Democrats WERE the party of racists, but as presented it is a lie by omission, Bob, which is a lie. You know it's a lie too.

Edit: or do I misunderstand you and you post this to indicate the Republican Party is redeemable, just like the Democrats redeemed themselves from their racist, hateful beginnings? Because you are, but you need to reverse almost every position on every issue to get there, and all I see is heels digging in farther and farther on the wrong side of every issue.

No, good intelligence from an ally that there were undeclared foreign agents in his campaign cabinet, and there were quite a few, not nothing. They didn't have evidence that definitively and directly tied Trump to Russian interference even though he publicly directly asked them for exactly that, and they delivered within hours.

Yes, Russian election interference was found, as were numerous Russia-Trump connections.

The only thing Trump got was an admission there were some minor omissions or inconsistencies in the applications for warrants, warrants that actually uncovered dozens of crimes that were successfully prosecuted. I agree, that's not good and needs addressing, but it's not a win for Trump at all,no matter how he spins and exaggerates it.

bobknight33 said:

Wow Big news.

So the tiniest of evidence to open a spy campaign against Trump. OK

But they found nothing and kept on spying. Corrupt Anti Trump which hunt on full display.

No professional bias found. - OK yep. But would one admit wrong doing of this type? Still the IG report was limited in scope.

Will need to see the Durham report next.

IG conclusion: ZERO Russian connection/ collusion/ interference with the election. So much for Trump being Putin's puppet. Serious mis handling / lying of officials to keep the spying / FIASA going.

All in all a Victory for Trump and team.

Vegan Diet or Mediterranean Diet: Which Is Healthier?

newtboy jokingly says...

They fudged the facts, hid their true motives, and further lied by omission to trick people into veganism?!
No!
Shocking!
It's almost like they believe the truth is not persuasive enough to sway people and are convinced that for their cause ends justify dishonest means.

Mordhaus said:

....So, I figured, let me look up some info on the Dr. presenting here. Neal Barnard is a well known Vegan and founding president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Intriguing, no? Then I looked up the PCRM he is the founding president of (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physicians_Committee_for_Responsible_Medicine). OMG, they just happen to be a non-profit research and advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C., which promotes a vegan diet, preventive medicine, and alternatives to animal research, and encourages what it describes as "higher standards of ethics and effectiveness in research." Its tax filing shows its activities as "prevention of cruelty to animals."

So it is a combination of a Vegan diet promotional group AND PETA. It also seems that they don't mind omitting parts of 'competing' diets to promote their own. Basically this is the equivalent of a organization like Atkins having a doctor like Iris Shai, RD, PhD, show that a low-carbohydrate diet like Atkins had a more favorable effect on blood lipid levels than both the Mediterranean diet or a low–fat diet.

I'm calling this *propaganda, sorry.

Hmm. Seems like an obvious omission to fail to cut to the seismograph reacting on their custom-made soot paper there at the end...

And those extras (how that much steel survived 2 world wars, etc.) are really fun and interesting details. Too bad they couldn't get worked in, but I guess including them in description text works.

FISA Memo | Everything You Need To Know

newtboy says...

The entire thing is bias, not factual, or at best misleading because of intentional omission of fact. I can't say what fact is false if there's no fact. Opinion about perceived/alleged bias isn't factual.
A lie by omission is a lie. The whole thing is that kind of lie.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2018/feb/05/devin-nunes/nunes-memo-twists-james-comeys-words-steele-dossie/

The "unverified and salacious" (not wrong or debunked, mind you) part was personal accusations, you know, the golden showers with Russian hookers part, which was NOT used to get a warrant. He was clear that was not his opinion about the entire thing.

Yes, as I've told you at least twice now, I read it twice before commenting on it looking for anything in it and found nothing but biased whining. "Steele said bad things about Trump, so he's an untrustworthy liar" is hardly even an honest accusation, much less evidence he lied about anything, and farther from proof that this one piece in the puzzle of evidence against Trump's administration was key. One statement by one person taken out of context and misrepresented is not even an indication, much less proof that this was THE key bit of evidence, without which there was no case, but that's what this is all about. it was likely the most damning bit that tipped the scales from 'could just look bad' to 'this is something that needs investigation today'.
Recall, the continuing investigation already actually found criminal activity PROVEN, ADMITTED, AND CONVICTED.

As I've told you repeatedly, they (democrats , the fbi, and the DoD) tried to block it because 1) they wouldn't let the FBI screen it for secrets/classified information/pure lies and 2) republicans blocked (and continue to block) releasing the full story because it paints a completely different picture from the memo. Don't pretend to be so dumb you don't understand that.

Just keep saying bombshell, that will make it real...Jebus Christ.

I'm sure it is just the tip....of the ass fucking the Republicans are giving our democracy and system of checks and balances. What it's not is the tip of some insane conspiracy iceberg between liberals and top law enforcement.

Get your head out of your ass. No one is ever going after Obama or Clinton, as they committed no crimes, they've both been investigated with pure malice and bias for years and Republicans found nothing, this is just more nothing. It's almost funny you would even consider that, but it's actually sad you are that deluded you could keep thinking such nonsense after so many disappointments.

Really? A pure bias opinion piece from ' the hill' is your evidence? It was factless, logic free garbage that actually referenced Benghazi as one of Obama's prosecutable crimes, I'm dumber for having read it. You should feel shameful.

Clearly you don't recall that Obama's administration had zero convictions for misuse of power, zero indictments, how many has Trump's had already? 5? 6? 10? At least 4 high ranking members have been convicted or plead guilty already before year one or the first investigation is complete. Only Nixon's record was worse, and that only after he left office after Watergate.
Trump has by far the worst criminal conviction record for sitting administrations on record....by FAR!

FISA Memo | Everything You Need To Know

newtboy says...

Everything you need to know....
There's not a single crime even alluded to in the memo, much less proven. Only accusations of bias against Trump by the agency that handed him the presidency.
The steel dossier was certainly not the only evidence presented to FISA, a fact Republicans are desperate to hide.

Republicans wrote the lax FISA rules, and renewed them just last month over Democratic objection, to make it easy to spy on Muslims in America and fight terrorism.
Those lax rules were used to legally get a warrant, and renew it.

Republicans eventually (after blocking voting on it for a week+) voted to release the Democratic memo, after it had been already submitted to the FBI and DOJ first and had a 10 day viewing period. The Republican memo was not subject to review. They also knew Trump would veto it's release, and he has so far. The democrats all voted to release the Republican memo...at the same time and with the same restrictions as the rebuttal, Republicans all voted against that.

Bias does not automatically make one not credible, or incapable of properly investigating crimes. Honest people are biased against liars. Most law enforcement is biased against criminal perpetrators. Intelligence agents are biased against traitors.

If bias was a disqualifier for investigation, what has the Republican party been doing looking at Clinton? They clearly should have recused themselves, but in that case bias against her was a prerequisite to be part of the investigation team. A little consistency would be nice, guys.

In short, this is utter bullshit distraction, fake misleading opinion based on factual omission made by those who've made a career of making unsupported, often debunked charges against political enemies, not credible evidence of crimes or improper action by anyone. Sorry @bobknight33

Is There an Alternative to Political Correctness?

enoch says...

this video nails it in my opinion, and i respect those who have chimed in but i notice there is a glaring omission in the discussion, and i think it should be the primary focus:

intent.

words are just symbols.
scratchings on a wall meant to convey meaning.
a meaning that can easily be misconstrued because we all inject our own subjectivity within the abstract nature of words.

it is the INTENT that drives the true meaning of the words we use.
the engine that moves that vehicle forward, with our emotions and thoughts as the fuel.

now there are some words that should never be used,as chaos mentioned, simply due to their vile nature and the history of oppression, suffering and vileness.there are some words where you simply cannot wash the stain of bloodied, vile corruption off of due to their inherent nature.

but do we avoid those words due to political correctness?
or basic, simple human decency and politeness?

this video points to very root of the problem, and that is our very nature.
political correctness seeks to demand we change our vocabulary, our very lexicon, all in the lofty goals of being more sensitive and compassionate, but it ultimately fails because it does not recognize the very nature of who we are.

a polite person has no issue discarding words from his/her lexicon in the name of politeness, but there are those who ARE vile, racist, misogynistic and grotesque...and they simply adhere to this new social norm to avoid detection, and then create NEW scratchings on the wall to convey their loathing and beligerent ignorance, now done in secret.

because it is the INTENT that is the driving force, which then lends itself to situational context to help us all understand the why's and the what-for's.

political correctness does not take this into account because it views the WORDS as being the culprit to societies woes, whereas politeness addresses this problem head-on.

basically it is this:
political correctness=you are being an asshole.
politeness=don't be an asshole.
enoch=already an asshole

too late fuckers!

intent is everything.
because you can call someone a motherfucker!
a MOTHER-FUCKER!
or a hey mothafucker!

intent my friends..intent.
