Edit: This was from the Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas and the driver, Tom Meents, of Maximum Destruction (the truck being viewed here) wanted to "do sumthin' nevah dun befo'." So he did a backflip!

That happens at every Monster Jam show. It's part of the act. The wheel flys off of the fan favorite, but he's able to get it fixed up by the end to win the final race. It adds suspense and drama to an otherwise boring show.
