It's always weird to see how Takashi Miike can get into doing pointless shit like this in between his 'real' movies, just to raise financing - you'd think he'd get bitter about having to be this bland just to make money every summer. Andromedia, One Missed Call, and now this derivative crap.

The robot's image so reminds me of Riki Takeuchi, especially in Takeshi Miike's Dead or Alive: Final... This also seems like a movie Miike would make... or at least appreciate.

Haven't seen the movie, but the manga was one of the most disturbing thing i've ever read. Quite good, but really hardcore / gross, and with some really fucked up things going on.
