This guy's studio is a modern Mecca for users. There, he and his followers--yes, they are followers--regularly have what would be called acid tests if they had been held in the 60s. I was invited to one way back when, but found myself without further need for that certain kind of exploration. I still hold his art in high regard, looking at it quite frequently in one of his books, which I will Amazon link to above.
