So it's clear there's at least some sort of vocal track playing in the background (in the parts where there's his voice saying something, and he is concurrently opening his mouth and saying something else).
But did michael jackson play live or was it all canned?

ugh, for gods sakes.
When he sings with his vocal track, he maxes out the mic so it distorts. Its clearly live. Plus its 1983...HE DOES IT LIVE!

If he is doing it live, it's done pretty well. The live version has been sped up by 1% compared to the original. Heres the live performance synced to the track from the Billy Jean video.

I don't know how anyone could be this addicted, it scares me. I play WoW, I've got a maxed out character (freakin lvl 80 rogue w/ 5.5k dps pre 3.1) and I could live with my account being canceled, I'd just do other stuff besides naxx 25 on thursday nights. Unless this kid is the hardcore of the hardcore raiders and had Yogg-Saron in heroic Ulduar down to 30% health at the time his account was canceled, hes not right in the head.

i understood about 1/4 of that

i understood all of it =(

A dental suggestion (Eia Talk Post)

rottenseed says...

Dental work is super stupid expensive. sallyjune is right, though, a lot of the things that can happen to your teeth are brought about by poor care. I've had several root canals and I can't really blame anybody but myself. I'd say if you have the option, next time you get to update your health plan, get flex spending. I know mine has saved my ass. When my dental plan is maxed out, my pre-taxed savings kicks in and handles the rest. I barely see a difference on my pay check.

"One of a kind" - play him off Keyboard Cat.

I think what he was saying (in the context of your statement) is that if you max out all of your credit cards during good times then you shouldn't choose to spend even more money during bad times.
Families generally have to reduce their spending when their income drops, especially if they were already spending more than they were making. The question is whether or not that applies to the US government.

I'm thinking that's the wrong analogy. It's more like a restaurant that has been slowly losing money for years. They've let the building fall to pieces, with leaks in the roof, failing electrical wiring, and an old rotary phone. New management comes in, and rather than trying to cut back on hours, or drop the quality of the food to try to make ends meet, they take out a loan, fix the roof and wiring, buy new appliances, remodel the dining room, and hire themselves a good chef to spice up the menu, and then advertise their all-new status.

That's what we're looking to do. Invest in our future to try to turn around a downward losing spiral.

The problem is our bank is China and they may cut us off before we even get started.
