Trump to be arrested

newtboy says...

Bwaaaahahahahaha! You are just so silly. Tantrum time! I think someone needs some juice and a nap.
If they arrest Trump, they will make you more angry, and more insane and dishonest than ever, but little more.

Trump is not a Jedi, he’s a Sith. When you strike down a Sith, they do not become more powerful than you could possibly imagine, they go back to the darkness.

Trump’s appeal has waned, the shine is off that penny but good. You just can’t see it because your face is smashed hard into his grey pubic hair. Even most Republicans want him to go away….and don’t care how. Everyone else wants him under the prison for life to prove laws still matter.

Edit: since this hint at prosecution and the resulting online tantrum, more Republican leaders have come out to endorse DeSantis over Trump despite the fact that DeSantis isn’t running for president. He’s not getting more popular yet.

You know full well that many of the investigations and charges come from well before Biden was elected, many were deferred while Dementia Don was in office until he became a private citizen. Lie to yourself that Biden’s administration has anything to do with any charge, (he’s been quite hands off the justice department unlike Trump that saw and used it as his personal law firm) but you aren’t convincing anyone of anything besides your own gullibility and ignorance, not that Biden’s involvement would matter, no law says he can’t be involved…that’s the bar Trump set.

Even the conservative members of the grand jury in Georgia have said if you knew what they know, even you wouldn’t support Trump anymore. I know that’s not true, absolutely nothing could make you see the reality of Trump’s proven, even admitted criminality, but most people aren’t as delusional as you. Trump is ahead in the polls….ahead of every other declared candidate….Mariam Williamson, Corey Stapleton, Vickey Ramaswamy, and Nikki Haley…only line straddler Haley has any recognition and she’s got zero chance…wait for a real candidate before declaring victory, this is like him playing the first round of golf at his club and declaring himself the course record holder.

Desperate fascists willing to do anything to cling to power….you’re talking about MAGA on Jan 6, right? So many guilty pleas for violent sedition by intolerant white nationalists who admit they were attempting to steal an election for Trump…but you say it wasn’t violent or seditious so nothing to see here, laws have no meaning. 🤦‍♂️

BTW- Joe Tacopina, Trump’s criminal defense attorney consulted with Daniels in 2018 about this issue, which means by law he SHALL NOT represent a client with interests opposed to the “perspective client” (even if no representation/retainment occurs) in the same or a substantially related matter, nor shall any attorney in any law firm the disqualified attorney is associated with. Enjoy Habba as lead counsel! ROTFLMFAHS!!!
Edit: my mistake, he’s not using Habba, he’s using the same attorney that lost all 17 felony counts against the same DA against the Trump orgs and got his CFO put in prison. It just keeps getting better.

ROTFLMFAHS!! You guys need to stop, I can’t get anything done if I spend all day laughing until my sides split.

Green tried to blame Biden for the fentanyl flood by trotting out a pair of dead teens whose deaths she blamed on Biden….they knew for a fact they had died in the early summer of 2020 from fentanyl brought in on Trump’s watch. When asked about the intentional misrepresentation to the American people her official response was “Do you think they give a f**k about your bullsh*t fact checking?”

Bohbert tried to blame Biden for federal workers abusing work from home to take vacations while getting paid, citing statistics from 2020 when Trump’s administration was incapable of formulating a plan/policy to avoid that…apparently unaware who was president in 2020 or that the administration and policies had changed since then.

Gaetz tried to blame Biden for supplying weapons to a paramilitary force Russia accused of war crimes, citing a Chinese propaganda publication, “the global times”…the reply was “I don’t take Beijing propaganda at face value.” which Gaetz had to admit was a much more intelligent position than his.

Banana Republicans tried hard to show Biden had forced Twitter to censor right wing political speech, but only proved that Trump repeatedly abused the power of the federal government to force multiple private companies to censor private citizens for upsetting him while Biden’s camp only requested they remove nude revenge porn against a private citizen that clearly and blatantly violated their TOS (and some laws).

Oof! The “L”s are coming fast and hard. Pretty sad when you start and run the investigations and just keep proving how guilty you are and how squeaky clean your opponent is by comparison. You must be so proud. I guess you all got tired of winning.

Bonus- Having learned nothing from the banking crash of ‘08 caused by Banana Republican bank deregulation, and despite all the warnings from economists and the CBO report that the plan would likely lead to another round of enormous bank failures, Banana Republicans again deregulated banks in 2018 which has now led to another round of bank failures that taxpayers will likely end up paying trillions for again in the end. Thanks Trump.
Now Fox and Republicans who caused this failure are actively working hard to turn one bank failure into a depression by telling their viewers to start a run on the banks, all banks, because they believe they can pin the results on Biden.

Burger King employee slaps kid who was making a mess

newtboy says...

This was not an attempted “life lesson”, it was an angry punishment that teaches the kid it’s ok to physically abuse those that can’t defend themselves.
The lesson that may be learned is if you can act the fool enough to make an employee lose their cool and get violent, you can cash in big time.

He was in no was showing respect. He was smacking a kid that made him mad. That’s the lesson he taught, resorting to violence is acceptable if you’re mad. A horrible life lesson that usually leads to prison.

It may be understandable, even cathartic, but it’s also wrong.

Such a ridiculous idiot, bob. Every time, on every subject.

Moron. You are still listening to liars TELL you what’s there….hint, they lie to you. Republicans said clearly and repeatedly they have no obligation to tell the truth. Questions, especially leading red herring questions, aren’t evidence.

2:35 - the witness under oath denies her false contentions….that’s the evidence you dumbshit.

Most “evidence” republicans produce today are articles from the National Inquirer or Weekly World News…..it’s shocking they haven’t started a hearing looking into Bat Boy yet….but the siphilitic howler monkey MTG will get there. Republicans abandoned evidence, facts, and honesty….those are for liberals. 🤦‍♂️

The FBI told them they shouldn’t break the law, or allow users to use their platform to break the law. Republicans are just outraged they couldn’t post revenge porn and dick pics publicly because they care so much about protecting children from such overt sexuality that they insist we all watch Hunter fuck and pull his stiff cock. (Pretty sure it’s an excuse for you to stare at it)

Every “doctor” removed was spreading verifiable lies about Covid and treatments, from hydrocloroquin and horse wormer to bleach. It’s sad you have no memory and think no one else does either so you believe you can rewrite recent history. Covid deniers, and quacks selling snake oil needed deplatforming, 100%, absolutely, perfectly reasonable for the administration to request or even force them off for public safety even if they were once respected doctors….unlike Trump’s administration that constantly forced deplatforming of private citizens for nothing more than upsetting or insulting big baby Trump….but that doesn’t bother you one bit, proving you aren’t serious and are just playing partisan politics….badly.

Sucker.

Biden asking twitter in pushing for de platforming Dr.s from twitter.

Due to your ignorance, you can start about 2:20 . and just get to the point.

There are other from FBI asking twitter to look at twitter links and the leftest twitter employees did as they were asked.

Has Woke Culture Has Gone Too Far

newtboy says...

Dishonest drivel by ridiculous ignorami who talk like snobby arrogant 12 year olds with a chip on their shoulders.

Really….he claims indoor plumbing is a major climate change driver, or a symbol of “wokeness”? Wtf is he talking about? More proof that he’s simply rambling nonsense to a crowd or braying morons in suits applauding every insult of the left, not making any valid points.

If enough people press that button to do everything to save their child at all costs without a thought to consequences, every child in the next generation has 5 times the likelihood of not surviving his first year, button or no, and the next 10 times the death rate, and the next 25times….and if everyone pushes that button, it guarantees a near 100% infant death rate this century. There are many ways to improve infant mortality rates without adding to greenhouse emissions….the best being STOP HAVING CHILDREN YOU CANNOT SUPPORT or FEED.

Undeveloped India is going to largely dissolve before they advance technologically. Over 2/3 of the water in that region comes from glaciers….glaciers in many cases expected to be gone completely by 2030. That’s almost 2 billion people suddenly with no water source. There is no technological way to replace that amount of water, never mind the money and energy. Therefore the India and China emission issues he claims are upcoming will likely largely solve themselves as they will be the spearhead of the first major wave of our extinction.

BTW, the comatose (the un-woke) admitted they actually want to ban women in red states from traveling legally because they could get in a car and drive/move to a state where abortion is legal….and they know their HUGELY unpopular plan to make an anti abortion federal law (funny it’s no longer a states rights thing) is a non starter.
So much for freedom.
They also are moving to ban contraception, sodomy, homosexuality, literally any sex that doesn’t lead to unwanted children except heterosexual sex with pre-pubescent girls….they’re in favor of THAT, and have written multiple bills attempting to legalizing it.

Feeding Cattle Seaweed Cuts Methane Significantly

Stormsinger says...

Honestly, that sounds way too good to be true. I'd love to see something about the metabolic pathways that explain how replacing such a small amount of feed could lead to 90% reduction in methane.

This screams for a LOT of replication (and explanation) before anyone gets too excited about it.

Interesting video, though.

A Few Key Moments From The Jan 6 Committee

newtboy says...

Oh….did you read it?
AAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!
SERIOUSLY!?
That’s the best you’ve got to contradict it?!?

Who promised you a transcript honey? I bet no one. You get what you get. Because you say it’s missing leads me to believe it’s in the report, not that it’s inclusion/exclusion is even a slider, a 1/16 pounder….just a nothing burger from your fake news. Besides, no evidence could sway you, don’t pretend anything ever could, you’re dishonest enough without that obvious lie.

If all the evidence collected was included, it would be an 84500 page report with months of video. This is a summary. Derp.

The one person on film telling people to go in?!? You really need to learn to gaslight better. You can’t just jump in with easily disproven silly lies everyone knows are lies.

This is an attempt to fly a long ago debunked absolutely baseless conspiracy theory that Epps was an FBI agent that they accidentally put on the most wanted list (he denied it under oath) who was there to provoke the crowd all by himself into attacking because that would somehow benefit the fbi, and he’s to blame not Trump, a brain numbingly stupid conspiracy theory based on nothing more than the claim he was on then off the most wanted list (and that the fbi won’t confirm or deny anything) that you just heard from Mother Fucking Lying TED CRUZ!!!
AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA….HA….HA….AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

How many witches will this witch hunt catch and convict I wonder. Hundreds so far that confessed and pleaded guilty. No one has said they went in because Epps told them to. Not even the traitor Ashley Babbitt.

bobknight33 said:

Elon Musk's Space-X Rocket Riding Goat Statue

cloudballoon says...

At least the crypto's founder is honest about its investors, a bunch of mindless goat followers to be lead to the slaughterhouse.

newtboy said:

This is an advertising stunt for Elon Goat Token, a fairly new crypto currency that spent $600000 on this statue, apparently as a gift to Elon. It was due to be delivered in Austin Saturday, the 26th, but when they arrived Elon was nowhere to be found to accept the “gift”, and did not make the hoped for endorsement of the crypto currency bearing his name.

In the last week Elon Goat Token has plunged by over 70%. Many investors are claiming they are not able to sell their holdings at all, some suggesting a conspiracy and con game. Ruh-roe!

Why American and European Trucks Are So Different

luxintenebris says...

as long as the driver has a large-mouth bottle, all american trucks have toilets.*

did read that there was a correlation between bladder cancer & truck drivers. was surmised, that holding your toilet had a part in the troubles. maybe, will have a definitive answer when amazon workers start having the same issues.

also many uti's.

read this reading up on school bathroom policies. a lot of uti's & colon-related problems - kids' tracts lose the ability to feel the urge & end up w/constipation and incontinent issues - in schools w/"hold it or lose recess" rules. (special place in hell, or the backyard, for those enforcers) - so the theory might hold water.

(a long drive for o̶n̶e̶ two puns.)

* "Most of us do carry pee bottles. But you have to stop to utilize them. I don't have enough hands to steer, shift, hold the bottle & direct Little Richard in the right direction all at the same time. Stopping to water the flowers is no longer an option, as it could lead to a sex criminal(sic) charge for indecent exposure."

Professional economist here (hence, perceived as right wing) who began studying economics due to concern about climate change (hence, perceived as left wing).

[1] The classic statement of when markets 'work' is the 'first fundamental theorem of welfare economics'.

[2] 'work' in this sense means 'leads to a Pareto-optimal outcome', which means an outcome in which no one can be made better off without making someone worse off. This is a low standard: an outcome in which I have everything is Pareto-optimal.

[3] the conditions for the welfare theorems are generally not satisfied in practice. Here, as alluded to in the ad, carbon emissions are 'externalities': if an oil company sells you gas, which you then use, both of you are better off, because you're assumed to have taken into account the effects of your exchange, and decided to proceed; other parties have not, so may be worse off.

[4] in general, failure of the welfare theorem conditions isn't enough to make the case for government intervention: the outcome may still be 'constrained' efficient - meaning that, given the inherent constraints in the problem (e.g. asymmetric information), the market outcome is Pareto efficient.

[5] again, even if it is, you may not like the particular constrained efficient outcome the market yields (e.g. I get everything).

[6] in the case of externalities, the theory is pretty well established - if we want efficient outcomes, we need to align the private and social costs. There are two basic market-based tools for doing that: quantity tools (e.g. carbon permits) and price tools (e.g. carbon taxes). Which performs better depends on the sort of market imperfections.

[7] obviously, we will never have a perfect estimate of the efficient price or quantity of carbon to emit in a given year. Equally obviously, to me at least, this is a classic case of an externality with a well developed body of theory pointing in the direction of some level of controls.

[8] in my experience: people familiar with the economic theory tend not to be 'pro-market' or 'anti-market': they tend to want to understand how the market can be used to deliver societal objectives and, when it can't, how to correct its imperfections.

Wow. My stream must be so strong that red wave seems to have turned around and become blue. So much for gaining 60 seats and a senate super majority. That giant red wave was barely a ripple so far, with a lot of blue mixed in. Once again, reality doesn’t resemble your predictions.

Fetterman just won. A Democratic gain in the senate.
Cortez Masto is well ahead, a predicted easy target for Republicans. The senate is looking safer already.
Warnock leads, but it’s likely there’s going to be a runoff.
Bohbert is losing.

Mastriano lost. Lake lost. Oz lost. Dixon lost. Trump lost.

Dems are ahead in most contested races, with mostly democratic leaning areas left to count.

Abortion rights propositions are winning.

Americans are apparently buying what Democrats were selling, even stroke ridden Democrats, and it’s being reflected in today’s votes so far.

Thank you Supreme Court. Your far right activism drove young people to the polls.

Edit: I guess you all are tired of winning?
Ouch, your red wave fails to materialize the same day Tesla stock tanks because Musk sold the first 10% payment for Twitter. Condolences.

bobknight33 said:

I wonder….do you differentiate between a poor soul duped (intentionally or not) by misinformation and a public performer actively spreading it?
IMO, it’s more like a zombie virus….once infected, once duped, you become a spreader yourself.
This guy is a super spreader. A fast running zombie that exists only to make more zombies.

It’s fine to have sympathy for the poor soul that became a zombie, but he’s gone now, don’t feel bad or have sympathy for the zombie he became….please! That only leads to more infection that’s easily avoidable.

moonsammy said:

Edit / final point: I voted the video back up to 0 from the -1 where I found it. Because while I disagree with a lot of the positions taken by the performer, they may have reached them through no fault of their own and with no true malice. Misinformation / disinformation is a devious shit of a motherfucker, and the rot it causes can run deep. It is painful to abandon deeply-held beliefs, on a fundamental level. If nothing else, the video gives us room to discuss some specific viewpoints held by people who think of themselves as good, but which can lead to harm.
