While 99% is obviously a bit high, I did a quick search and found some data. Out of 62 mass shootings between 1982 and 2012, mass being more than 4 victims per incident, 11 shooters were black. In the other cases, 45 shooters were white males, 1 was a white female, and the rest were asian or latino.

So 18 percent of the mass shootings during that period were done by blacks. A whopping 74 percent were white.

Shite like this is the reason I moved out of California, living in good old Saint Paul, Minnesota now. Oxnard California is like a mini-Oakland. Here I have a 3000sf home built in 1901, 1 mile from downtown and no worries. My daughter is 10mos, one due in July, and we so enjoy walks in the neighborhood in the summer. My stepson walks to baseball 1 mile away, we meet him there pushing baby and walking dog, walk home as an American Family. It makes it all worth while. I think there are ALL KINDS of problems that lead to places like this in Cali... Fresno is almost as bad. Parts of the low desert are very bad, etc. If you want to write 2 page posts defending your view of WHY, maybe that's one of the reasons why as well, and you should define it, man up, and put it in there at number 12 or whatever. Sure "democratic stronghold" is part of the problem. American counter-culture has also been rewarding consumerism above all else for decades. Asians, Latinos, and Blacks cash in today and sell out tomorrow. The west coast is also way too expensive, real estate is too high, and money is the only incentive.

As a side note I might have had 10-15 encounters with these types over the years in and around Oxnard and if their skin was white and I was armed, maybe they would have died...or me. Who knows, there are always more than one way to deal with a problem. In the end the minorities pay the price and it isn't fair. They get worse jobs, their property isnt worth ShXXt, their children receive a poor education. Cookie-cutter whites, in the end, benefit on the left. The drive their Volvo SUVs on highways to schools or doctors or what have you paid for by the masses.

"The talk" that White, Latino, and Asian parents have with their children goes like this:

1. 90% of violent interracial crime involves a Black perpetrator and a White victim... but nobody cares.

2. Black teenagers die 1000% more from fellow Blacks than from Whites... but nobody cares.

Latino isn't a race, it's a demonym. Latinos can be of any race or combination of races. Cameron Diaz, Sammy Davis Jr, Fernanda Takai, Sonia Sotomayor... all Latinos.

We don't know if he's guilty or innocent; we only know the case for guilty could not be adequately made. He is presumed innocent on that basis.

I am confused about this case. Which part of Zimmerman is white? Isn't he Latino? And if there are no witnesses (according to the court case), how do we know if he is guilty or innocent? From my bias point of view the 2nd amendment is intended for all its people to be able to defend our self from the bad guys but more importantly from a government gone a muck.

As for what type of "gun" should be or should not be allow is based on what the government will use against its citizens.

Back int the beginning everyone had access to the same type of gun. The soldier used his own personal gun from home. If the government ran a muck then the playing field would level between Government and citizen.

Guns should not be banned, no not one. The bad guy does not care about the law and do what ever he wants.

Of course the legal system will have to have 100% proof.

An outside driver came into work last week, the day after the election, and told me about the Republican "stars" that are just waiting for a chance (Rubio and someone else). It says a lot about these nutters. He went on about Obama's offshore accounts and other nonsense and just got louder and more shrill with every jab I gave him. It was wonderful. When I suggested he change the channel once in a while, he started screaming (seriously) that he watched FOX (I didn't mention FOX) because it was the only station that gave both sides of an issue. LOL! He even used Alan Colmes as an example! LOL!

I'm telling you, their brains just don't work the same. It's like there is some latent Neanderthal gene at work or something, or, as Jeff Foxworthy once said, a family tree that doesn't fork.
