Midterm uphill battle for Democcrats

newtboy says...

Such a sad little boy. That’s all you can come up with vs worse language skills and treason, unprecedented massive vote frauds, and a failed coup? 😂

Edit: You are such a constant waste of my research time….He actually said “I was in the foot-Hima…foot, excuse me…foothills of the Himalayas with Xi Xing Ping….he combined foothills and Himalayas once then stuttered the word “foothills” and instantly correctly pronounced it afterwards. Such blatant quick edit to make it sound like gibberish when, as expected, seen as the whole video it barely registers as a stutter. More dishonest kindergarten level silliness, all you’ve ever had against Biden. 🤦‍♂️
15:26 into his speech. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqNtQ6c_HAU

Biden has a long term diagnosed speech impediment you LOVE to ridicule, making you an infant and douchebag that laughs at people’s disabilities, even the most successful people who overcame those disabilities to levels you could never dream of reaching….

…Trump has a severe brain impediment you LOVE to ignore completely. He stares into the sun, suggests mainlining bleach, says Washington “took over airports”, publicly brags about having sex with his daughter, draws hurricane projections in sharpie and thinks it looks like an official weather map, wonders about the oranges, oranges, the oranges of the investigation, can’t say “yesterday”… And on top of thousands of examples of him being utterly brainless, he reads, writes, and speaks gibberish and you lap it up.
He also has a morals and an ethics impediment, but I’ll stick to ridiculing his words.
Trump was president Jimmy Wichard (also accused of frying his brain by staring into the sun, but it’s kind of a chicken and egg thing). YOU think that makes him a genius.

Covfefe.
Go sell it on Troth Senchel, those morons will believe anything
🤦‍♂️ 😂

The Best Female Swimmer in the World!

newtboy says...

They are real women, no matter how you wish otherwise.
Are men that take testosterone supplements not real males? Same for women taking estrogen, not real females? Women who’ve had a hysterectomy? Men who had penectomies or testicular removal?
Is this a “real woman” who should compete against women? https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/31662608/boxer-patricio-manuel-transgender-pioneer-looking-next-fight

What expertise in the fields of gender vs sex vs sexual orientation do you boast to contradict the actual experts with careers in those subjects?
A:None, you’re an alleged maintenance/service tech with embarrassing language skills, and apparently a total lack of scientific knowledge.

Where’s your evidence of that “disadvantage “? Where are the rest of the 2% of athletes that are top of their sport and trans? You make the claim, prove it (one example does not prove anything). Guess you failed math too.

That could be true if your loopy idea that men are pretending to be women to get an advantage in sports were in any way true, but it’s pure unadulterated nonsense.
Trans women must go through years of hormone therapy; supplements, hormone blockers, sometimes even surgery to be able to compete. In many leagues they must never go through male puberty. They cannot, as you clearly think is the norm, just put on a woman’s swimsuit and compete with women, then whip their dicks out after competition and go back to being macho men. Your insistence on keeping your head firmly encased in your lower intestine, in the dark, listening to yourself echo through your own fart chamber is what lets you believe such utterly ridiculous nonsense.

I think it’s abundantly clear to everyone which of us lives in an echo chamber of lies and nonsense and which of us thinks for themselves, and equally clear which prefers the light of knowledge and fact and which sticks to their dark cave of ignorance and misinformed opinion.

Er mer gerd…. ROTFLMFAHS!!! Mr cranial rectosis projects so freaking hard, yo.

It puts real women at a true disadvantage.
Even a fruit loop like you should see this.

Guess your head still up you ass and you are living in the dark listening to your own echo chamber..

Please rewrite this first paragraph before I’m forced to publicly lambast your total lack of language skills again as sub par for grade school.

I’ll ignore the bat shit crazy stupidity of what you tried to write for now, just get it in fucking English.

If CRT is….
…then you have nothing….
….,and in YOUR mind nothing would be banned. (Had to read that 6 times to decipher what you were trying to say).

It’s impossible to take you seriously when you write with the skill of a third grader who is failing English….or a Russian troll who also failed English.

bobknight33 said:

If it is a CRT is another red herring than you have nothing to worry about. Let it be banned in schools and in you mind then nothing would be banned.

No one wants to ban the teaching of slavery or Jim Crow.

Why would any Republican want to ban the teaching this side of the Democrat party?

Quit bringing false arguments to the table.

Truth is irrelevant, but getting caught making up and spreading stupid, easily debunked lies can embarrass even boob…..sometimes. It does help prove they have no actual point to make so are forced to lie to support their dishonest positions….every now and then that sinks in for a moment.

“Truth is an idea in the mind of a crazy person, but you don’t need to know the “truth” in order to not lie.”- My Dad

100%…right?!
He doesn’t think like an engineer, he doesn’t talk like one, he can’t do even basic math like every engineer ever can, and he doesn’t have the basic language skills every single college graduate (or even a non-alternative high school graduate) has.
Pretty hard to believe a constant unrepentant uneducated liar is telling the truth this time….unless his degree came from Trump U.

Interview with Milla Jovovich about The Fifth Element

MaxWilder says...

Great interview. Loved that movie. Her language skills were superb, most of her acting was excellent. The fighting... well... we can overlook one flaw, I hope. It just wasn't choreography that was appropriate for a petite woman against beastly warriors. Can't really blame that on Milla.

@longde
The language skills in the uploader's commenting history are below the skill level expected by high-school graduation.

Ha. It's fun to debate sometimes against anti-success stuff, but I understand if people prefer the world stays that way. I wouldn't recommend it considering global trends, but it's a free life

Romanian Star Trek Is Pretty Damn Bad

marinara says...

it's clearly a parody of turkish star trek. you didn't put emoticons, so i can't tell if you're ribbing me or not. There is no arabic(squint your eyes) or hindi in the video. neither is there anything explicitly turkish. (but i guess they might be speaking turkish words with an english pronunciation. Any turks on the sift? Just do a asterix +discuss) It's not the Australian comedian that did this and this

instead some guy on b3ta.com is taking credit for it
clearly the same guy does a dr. who parody
http://www.b3ta.com/links/Doctor_Hooey

feel free to sift dr hooey, i will upvote

How in the name of all it's good you didn't smell the Arabic/Hindu nature of everything in this video is beyond me.
Shame for the lack of basic language skills. Shame!

Petition to Apply Affirmative Action to the Basketball Team

longde says...

Dude, really, the positive experiences of some east Asian groups does not negate the negative experiences of other visible minorities, nor does it disqualify their claims for justice. There is no zero-sum, or black/white (no pun intended) on this issue.

I'm glad that those asian groups don't experience discrimination or prejudice despite the fact that some come to the table without the required language skills or adequate income. Bully for them. Some of us have fluent and native english skills, and have all the supposed advantages of being in the middle class, yet somehow get passed over.

I also love that fact that you lump all Asian groups together to muddy the issue again. Hmong and Japanese groups have vastly different household income, health outcomes, education levels, discriminatory experiences, and so on. They are not the same in any way, yet you can use extremes in either group to create a distorted picture of the "Asian" experience.

And this video is just ridiculous. Who cares about the fucking NBA/NCAA? Let it all be white and chinese for all I care. That's not what really matters in our society for most people. Aside from the fact that making a jump shot is a direct measure of performance in basketball; no way to manipulate it, either you can or you can't. SAT, GPA, and other measures of so-called "merit" are deeply flawed.

>> ^chilaxe:
Most of what's been said in the comments above this isn't true because Asian Americans outperform Whites, even though Asian Americans are a minority, were very recently more poor than any groups in the US, and had greater language disadvantages than anyone in the US.
All the people in the above comments who support racist discrimination against Asian Americans don't believe in personal accountability and are in favor of a permanently hyper-racialized society. http://videosift.com/poll/Is-discrimination-against-Asian-Americans-in-college-admissions-good-or-bad
This comment could be disproved if you can show that Asian Americans didn't have greater linguistic and financial barriers to overcome than any groups in the US, or that they don't outperform White people.

Dear Asians, Fuck Your Culture/Family/Dignity Love, Texas (Asia Talk Post)

EDD says...

Thank you for an insightful comment, RhesusMonk. For the most part I agree with you.

Still... (and I know I will probably be considered terribly arrogant in saying this, since I will, of course, be using myself as an example, but-) I wouldn't say it's impossible (not even _hard_ for that matter) to pick up the majority of languages' pronunciation rules that exist around the world, really.

OK, me then.
My native language is Indo-European, and I also know English really well, while my German and Russian are average. I've frequented Scandinavia a bit, but enough so that I could distinguish between Finnish, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian when I hear them spoken most of the time. Icelandic too (for example I'm not one of the folks that think Sigur Ros' lyrics are in Icelandic, hee hee). Furthermore, while I was researching funny English accents a couple of years ago, I got into French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish a bit, whereas I'd probably attribute my Portuguese skills to all the Brazilian porn I've been watching natural talent. Anyway, these language skills enable me to accurately pronounce pretty much any name of European/Slavic/Latin descent I'd encounter in writing, ever.

Also, my wife studied Chinese and Japanese and some of her knowledge rubbed off on me. I've also watched a lot of Korean movies/TV to now be able to distinguish their language/names/pronunciation also.

In conclusion, the only continent that I'd probably offend trying to pronounce their culturally native names is Africa. Then again I think most people know how many African kids are being given English names these days...

P.S. And I'm only 21.

OK, English is not my first language. I simply had to do a follow-through on that one and check out http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=follow+through
At first I thought westy's comment was just a typical westy-comment, bereft of meaning, spelling, syntax and punctuation, but he actually followed through on that one.
Kudos to mrk871 for spilling the beans to me and making me see what I really meant to say.

I think it's OK to say "follow through with x" to express what you intended, but just "follow through" seems to sound more like the other meaning, although other people may differ in how they interpret it. Btw, by no means was my post a sarcastic dig at your language skills or a simple "Ha ha, you made a mistake". I just found the 2nd meaning amusing.
