Suspect Dies In Police Car After Cops Ignore Calls For Help

VoodooV says...

I hate to say it, but Cenk summed it up pretty good. He can see it both ways. How many times have cops had to put up with bullshit stall tactics, it's impossible not to become jaded on this stuff.

still yeah, they could have driven him to the hospital and he could have been saved. If someone was faking it, a doc or a nurse could see that right away.

homicide though? nah. At best, it was negligence or just a plain ole accident. The biggest crime I see here is the coverup.

Comments as Toxic Waste (Internet Talk Post)

"Other users become jaded and also start abusing the system because they see others getting away with murder. Let's hope that never happens here." Sorry zombieater, happened to me more than once here.....dealing with troublesome rabble with acidic rants makes my fucking teeth white!!....Also insures that the few friends I do make on the internet share a similar cutta the jib.

I must concur with gorilllaman in that my online and in-person personalities are pretty much congruent.....in fact, the time and meter of my spoken and written voices are similar as well, because after I write something simple enough for a knuckle-dragger to understand, I rehearse what it would sound like if I was shouting it whilst staring into their eyes as close to their their poncy little biscuit shoots as possible without the kissy-kissy!

Comments as Toxic Waste (Internet Talk Post)

I think that it's easier to state that comments can be contained and monitored for abuse when one is doing so on a (relatively) small scale such as videosift. But imagine if the site ballooned to 10x - 50x the size of what it is now (e.g. Youtube or Yahoo!) with the same proportional increase in comments, ratings, and disagreements. Would it still be possible to maintain such a utopian vision?

I believe that there is a critical mass at which too many bad apples get through and their filth becomes too burdensome to monitor. Other users become jaded and also start abusing the system because they see others getting away with murder. Let's hope that never happens here.

Do people still say "fake" any more? or have we become too jaded to care.

His channel has more train videos...I think he really loves trains...like right in the smokestack.

I think the truth is somewhere in between. Does the Angry Video Game Nerd really like videogames? Yes. Is he really angry? Possibly. Does he play it up for our amusement? Of course. Is it asinine when people ask themselves questions and then give the answer? Always.

Holy crap! Talk about attack ad!!!!

Why wouldn't it be?
An attack ad is one that attacks your opponent, rather than, oh I don't know, TALKING ABOUT THE FUCKING COUNTRY.
What's that about creating jobs? No, not the other guy destroying jobs, you creating them. What's that about taxes? No, not the other guy not paying enough, you reforming them, or not. What's that about foreign policy? No, not how the other guy would or wouldn't declare war on Iran, what would you do? What's that about the environment? No, not what the other guy drives, what you will do about clean air. What's that about the deficit? No, not how the other guy will increase it, how you will decrease it.
Jesus Christ, it's July and I'm jaded by this fucking election already. I like Obama, relatively speaking, but this is negative campaigning bullshit and I'm rather concerned that people can't even see that any more. Imagine how pissed off I'd be if I lived in the US!

Agreed, it is by far the worst aspect of American politics. I think there should be an advertising regulation covering political ads that you cannot mention your opponent, all you can do is promote your own policies, although that would probably violate the first amendment in the US. Maybe just have the candidates sign an agreement?

Why is telling the truth considered an attack?

Immigration Policies in the U.S. Need to Change

kceaton1 says...

I wonder if she could ever be considered for "right of asylum" considering what she is going through. It's very easy to me, with the Chinese connection (not only the laws, but the slavers too) to the whole, "...we don't want girls born here...", dilemma in the populace due too political laws enacted there--I mean just listen to her Father (just call back and get him documented) let alone the documented death threats that have been made against her. It seems like any decent lawyer could try to justify this as a political matter rather than just a sex-trade/slave-trade one. But I'm SURE their there are idiotic politicians willing to jump in front of a bus and tell them that there is no way it will be considered under the "right of asylum" act, because they aren't a nuclear scientist coming from Iran. Pathetic.

No matter the case this is obviously a case of leniency and JUSTICE. But, when is the last time you've TRULY seen justice being handed out on a daily basis--right now we are lucky if we win just ONE victory every so often--call me jaded.

Bravo!!

So much cynicism in the comments. Remember when you were young and un-jaded and you'd simply enjoy something for what it was? Full of optimism and seeing the glass half full rather than half empty? I'm guilty of being cynical myself, but sometimes it is just worth it to laugh and love in life without feeling the need to announce every slight suspicion of anything you suspect is out of place.

Please just watch it again and enjoy the beauty of what you see, not what you think that you might see.

Because you're missing out big time.

Check the video description on the youtube page. ddpyoga, ddpyoga all over the place. This is just an advertisement...not saying that this didn't really happen, but advertisements suck the life and caring out of me. Nothing like capitalism to suck the romance out of everything.>> ^CrushBug:

I said it on reddit, and I'll say it here: why the fuck do I feel like I'm being sold something?
I'm sorry for being so jaded, but I do have a decent (if not hypersensitive) bullshit detector.

It is always good to exercise caution on things like this, but I think this is safe. Short of mentioning a Yoga instructor's name, there is no other promotional text or Send money here, or captioning to visit a web site, or any of the other indicators. Seemed like an honest "Thanks and don't limit yourself" video.
I watched it, and I just felt fucking pumped. Woe be to he who puts a challenge in my way today!

I'd tag this viral, made by someone smart enough to be subtle as the internet is a cynical place. Especially here at 127.0.0.1.
