Respect the lee shore and high winds
This looks like one overconfident sailor who had planned to bring friends with modest sailing experience out for a day on the water and refused to let high, gusting winds hold him back.
They couldn't control the boat enough to keep the mainsail up in gusty winds, and if they had the boat would likely be leaning and flagging soo far over in choppy seas that the passengers would be right to be scared of the boom taking one of them out. It doesn't look like there is an outboard motor, so I guess they somehow got out of the slip and away from docks on just the jib, then hit the real wind gusts.
And now the video starts with mainsail down and getting in the way, jib not fully up but providing some pull, and that pull being lost to waves and poor steering. The sailor is messing with lines up front while the tiller is manned by someone who is waaay out of their element, and who begins to just jack-knife the thing from 0:20 onwards, halting all forward momentum. I don't want to come down on that person too hard, because none of them should have been out there that day, and the sailor should have been manning the till or at least yelling very specific orders at the top of his lungs well before the situation got this bad. No idea why they don't have an outboard motor, maybe they lost it. If its a rental, that rental agency should not have let them go out there.

Welcome to China! Please enjoy your ride! :)
The meter isn't down so I guess they agreed on a price before hand, and then he took the wrong turn, and so would of lost money if he'd kept going that way. Because there's no off ramps for a long time on some highways, they might of ended up in some other city. You get more crazy rides in china than this sometimes, especially when the driver wants to get home for dinner. I've had drivers speed down the wrong way at top speed then jack knife it in between a line of traffic to get past the queue.
Cheating Death - Missed by Inches
Upvoted for lack of taste from commentors.
I thought the intro was a good setup, shit tons better then the blue wall of text youtube videos have been going with for the past 6 years. I was actually impressed at the quality of the costume, not exactly something you can buy at target. As for the music, it was also up my ally. I belive a more accurate term is gothic rock. Either way I am a total sucker when you combine female vocals with orchestral rock.
As for the content, a mixed bag for the most part. Some of these clips are quite anchient, and I would have prefered slow motion out takes to have been spliced in tigher and shorter, as to quickly get to the next clip. also I had pretty much seen all the videos in the front of the video that got slow motion replays as they have been in animated gif form for years, but many of the videos near the end were new to me and didn't get replays. The jack knife and speeding van head shot was insane. Oh yea and I am still trying to figure out that one with the baby.
Sarah Palin Book Signing - Meet The Fans
For the record, by 4:30 (I had to stop there) I had counted 17 unique people interviewed. I would assume that by the end of the 8+ minute video there's somewhere between 23-30 people. Now granted he probably still choose the "winners", but that's not so much cherry picking as a cherry truck jack-knifing on the overpass.
And I can only imagine the switch in certain comments if this video was of a democrat this bright....
And FYI - America is NOT an exceptional country. You really are just another country.
-Any- group of people has the potential of consisting of ones who are a positive contribution to the world or negative. Assuming that a single group is great just because they have a good track record, or whatever allows the negative ones to slip into power given enough time. As a nation we can achieve greatness, but not by just saying we are.

Banned Extreme Diet Technique - The Tapeworm
Banned? By whom, pray tell.
I told you it was stupid, but couldn't resist. Please forgive me.Okay, please indulge me for one moment. This video reminds me of a very stupid joke from when I was a kid. Here goes:
Fedex Truck BASHES into police cruiser
I-71/75 Erlanger, Kentucky: FedEx jack Knives into Police Cruiser: as a police cruiser is checking the welfare of occupants of a vehicle that crashed into the median due to icy roads, a second vehicle slams into the cruiser and spins it around into the middle lane facing oncoming traffic. Soon thereafter you can see a FedEx tractor trailer jack knife into the police cruiser.

On I-71/75 last night, the freezing rain and snow lent to a horrific scene straight out of a movie in which an out-of-control double tractor-trailer slammed into a helpless compact car.
The freezing conditions last night left more than 100,000 power customers without power, but it also created the kind of road conditions that led to the crash.
With the release of cruiser cam video today, one can now witness sheer terror through the cruiser cam of Erlanger police officer Bill Allen.
The events that led up to the disaster were small notes which led to the horrible crescendo.
"Both Officer Eagler and I noticed that the road was very slick," Officer Allen told 9News.
Just before the crash, Allen and probationary officer Doug Eagler had responded to the scene of a single car spinout.
"As we approached the vehicle, we both heard a noise -- turned around and looked -- and saw another vehicle strike the back end of our cruiser," said Allen.
The driver in that car was 20-year-old year Ashley Walker, whose bruises now show on her neck her seatbelt restraint.
"I seen the police cruiser and I tried to stop and get over, but I couldn't stop," Walker told 9News.
As her car struck the cruiser, the camera goes out.
Officer Allen's car is spinning in the meantime, and when the camera comes back on, it's pointing back towards oncoming traffic.
She tells 9News, this is when she says he saved her life.
"He's like -- get out get out a semi's coming a semi's coming!," said Walker. "He takes me out of the car and throws me into the snow and he throws himself on top of me."
Video also shows the car of Ronald Powell, who amazingly, has barely a scratch on him, despite being in the car the semi hit.
"The cop car started spinning in front of me and I'm coming up and I'm starting to slow down and then I see the Officer grab Ashley out of her car and dive him and himself against the guard rail," said Powell. "And then that's when I get smacked."
The driver of the double tractor-trailer says he tried to steer around, but couldn't.
The video shows the double-load tractor-trailer jack-knifing and slamming right into Powell's compact car.
When 9News asked Powell if he has seen the cruiser cam video of him getting hit, he responded, "Yes, and it just lets me know how truly the grace of God and the seatbelt, it saved my life."
Remarkably no one was seriously hurt as a result of the crash.
Officer Allen tells 9News he didn't have time to think, he just acted.
Ashley Walker says she will no longer take things for granted.
And, again, Ronald Powell believes he and his seatbelt had a little help from above.
