How to hack an elevator to ride Nonstop
There's a catch here. All Otis elevators have this feature, but when the elevator is installed the owner has the option to turn it off. Almost everyone nowadays has it turned off. The only owners that want it on are (for example) hospital service elevators when doctors want to get a person on a hospital bed to the surgery floor without interruptions. General office buildings have it off. The rare time you find that it works in an office building is when the owner just had maintenence and reset the settings.
The same key combo has another function. There's a key combo (I forget what) that holds the door open, generally so you can load/unload lots of stuff from the elevator without having to wedge it open or keep holding they key. The closeDoor/number combo turns off the mode to resume normal operation.
