From The Programmer's Mouth: How The Election Was Fixed
Greg Palast did some great investigative journalism about the Florida election and published a book in 2003, 'The best democracy money can buy', I highly recommend it. The first 100 pages are a bit boring but that's because he's going over all the voting statistics, after that the book gets very juicy.
Were touchscreens used in Florida in 2000?

"This is serious stuff, why does the production style have to resemble a bad sitcom?"
Seriously.
I don't get it either. Greg Palast is a fantastic reporter, but this almost seems like parody.

Greg Palast? On American TV? There must be a glitch in the matrix.

Real News analysis on Chavez runs contrary to MSM
I'm a big fan of Chavez.
For a good run down of my reasons for liking him, please refer to Greg Palasts wonderful book "Armed Madhouse".
What I really love is the way Americans only care about "dictators" if they happen run their country in a way that doesn't suit their needs. I mean heaven forbid that the US should have a problem with Robert Mugabe or Omar al-Bashir.
Oh yea that's right, their countries don't happen to contain US oil fields.
