Muse Play Knights at Glastonbury Festival 2010
alien_concept had a different description when this video was first posted, saying that he didn't want to spoil what song they were about to play. He changed it after I made my comment, so my comment now looks out of place. >> ^Krupo:

Erm, the video "spoils" what song they're playing by announcing it over the first 10 seconds.
I'm confused by this observation. What do you mean?
Or was that an older copy of the embed? I'll assume it's that?
Also, quality MUSE!
Finally - I recall that reflecting light - they had it at the Toronto show too. From a distance it was like they put a lighthouse on stage.

That thing you see Matt spinning around at like :55 is some kind of reflective thingy...he points it at the crowd and such...ridiculously bright live.
This performance (including harmonica) is pretty close to their Detroit show in March. Different stage stuff, but same pink pants
Knights is a good song, and it's even better live when you get to yell "No one's gonna take me alive" along with everyone else, but it's far from my personal favorite.
My personal favourite has been Citizen Erased for years

Muse - Time is Running Out, Live at Glastonbury
Bloody great gig all around. Stockholme Syndrome at Glastonbury was fucking awesome!
"Admit it, you're as bored as I am" (Bravo Talk Post)
I haven't been to classical concerts much lately. I remember seeing the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall a few years ago, the abiding memory of which was the incredible heat and lack of air in the hall.
On the other hand when I went to see some classical guitar I had a brilliant time.
And then there have been rock bands who were, and are still today, totally underwhelming on the live stage. One thing I took from this years Glastonbury was how few people could actually sing. Really dissapointing.
Jay-Z gives Noel Gallagher the metaphorical finger.
ahh, yes. looks like the glastonbury crowd approves.
now i wanna' see oasis headlining at the apollo.
it'll be the first time this millennium that anyone cared what oasis did.
Jay-Z gives Noel Gallagher the metaphorical finger.
No, dont make this out as a racial thing, heres what Noel Gallagher actually said in NME:
"If it ain't broke don't fix it," he said. "If you start to break it then people aren't going to go. I'm sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance.
"Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music and even when they throw the odd curve ball in on a Sunday night you go 'Kylie Minogue?' I don't know about it. But I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong."

Fantastic. More Glastonbury clips please.
Pulp - Common People (Live at Glastonbury '95)
Imagine being a musician, and not just playing Glastonbury but having the crowd sing along with every single word of your big song. Brilliant.
Doves - There Goes the Fear (mesmerising)
I second that...watch this song live at Glastonbury here on YouTube.
Pulp - Common People (Live at Glastonbury '95)
1995 saw the peak of Pulp's fame, with the release of their No.2 UK Hit single "Common People", their much loved performance at the Glastonbury Festival (standing in for the Stone Roses at the last minute) and their Mercury award winning album Different Class (the first album featuring Pulp fan-club president Mark Webber, who became a permanent member of the band on guitar and keyboards). This album, with its disco-infused pop-rock, and the trademark sordid yet witty lyrics about sexual encounters and working class life, is for most fans what Pulp are about.
