SC2 - Unbeatable Protoss 1v1 Strategy

residue says...

Well I knew it wasn't real, but I also was hoping that she knew some trick that would keep the flying fortress from harm, ie a funny glitch + a funny story to go with it. that would have been funny to me. maybe the title threw me off and I was actually expecting an unbeatable strategy

>> ^Napalm:

You didn't realize it was a parody in the first 30 seconds?

What is it with games designers and fucking hats?
Not that i have a problem with hats per say , but there is certainly a disproportionate amount of games designers that ware hats.

They must be obsessed with Team Fortress 2.

Couldn't agree more about emphasising more simplistic and iconic character design. It's bad enough in singleplayer games, but it's even worse in multiplayer. I feel a lot of developers really need to take a leaf out of the Team Fortress 2 art design philosophy. There is just no way that identifying pixelated figures from a distance especially with the woefully low resolutions on consoles is fun by anyone's standard.

You mean to tell me that you don't absolutely love killing your own team members because they were only a slightly different shade of brown than those of the opposing team? Oh but wait, the developers know their characters look confusingly similar so how to they solve it? Red and green name tags that follow you around, take up the whole screen and make it impossible to take cover and not be seen. "Oh hello, I have my boot sticking out from behind a pile of wrecked cars, yet you know can tell I'm here because MY NAME IS A BIG NEON SIGN BLARING SHOOT HERE!!!"

That's why I always liked Team Fortress and Unreal, Blue and Red, no mistakes, no need for identifying your opponents with huge fucking marquees, you just have to shoot who ever isn't your color.

I really enjoy TF2. Most of the players don't speak that much. Those that do, do so to help the team. Then there are the few 'music spammers' that you can now easily set to ignore. Overall its fun. Doesn't require as much 'twitch' as it does tactics and teamplay... depending what class you play.
Also, Left4Dead is great online. I haven't played a public game in a while, but when I did, everyone was cooperative.

Zero Punctuation: Left 4 Dead 2 & New Super Mario Bros Wii

Well at least he got it right about Left 4 Dead 2, or at least how I view it.

Seriously, where is Half-Life 2 Ep 3? It's not like Left 4 Dead 1 was getting old and stale, and of course there is that much cheaper (and more fun) bit of Team Fortress 2.

I know Valve wont hear me over the sound of the cash register, however.
