100 Ways to Die in Oblivion

Kevlar says...

Interesting. There were some big bosses and other characters that I definitely never saw before, like the Gatekeeper! Anyone know where they're from? Was it DLC or a mod?

Edit: I'm an idiot who doesn't like to read end credits!

To Quantumushroom - a short song written in about 5 minutes (Blog Entry by JiggaJonson)

dystopianfuturetoday says...

Reminds me of the song that Issy and I wrote over the end credits to 28 Days Later.

Zombie, why ya wanna eat me. (sung in a thick British Psychedelic Furs voice)

We couldn't stop laughing after the first line, so we never finished it. Maybe you could help us.

I remember seeing this in the theater, and when it was over, I walked over to the 24 hour Target across the street, and started wandering the aisles just be with people for a while. I haven't had a movie affect me like that since I was a little kid. A lot of people hate this movie (except, of course, the end credits, which are brilliant), but if a movie can evoke a feeling like THAT...man, that's some potent stuff.

I went to the website of the guy who did this, and he's doing the JoCo thing of a song a week... but, not as well. Almost every song is some simple bit (usually the name of the song) repeated ad nauseum.
So, I don't think there's a threat that he'll become huge or anything, plus each song is but seconds long.
Still, some of them are catchy.

JoCo song of the week?

Jonathan Coulton Now very famous amongst the geek circle, for songs such as Code Monkey, 1st of May, and Still Alive from the end credits of Portal. He did a thing a week for some time, where he released a song every week. You can download a large number of them for free from his site, and then buy some if you like as well. He's does a fine song does he.

Meet the US Federal Reserve (heres a bit of truth for you)

blutruth says...

I agree, the information in here is something that the majority of people don't know about. Most people would probably be very surprised if they learned that the Fed (a private corporation) "buys" the money that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing prints for only the cost of printing it. Practically speaking, the Fed would pay about $3,000 for $1 billion dollars worth of notes. After which, it will "sell" this money to banks and even the government at face value. Something about that just doesn't seem right to me.

By the way, the video isn't VERY long, it's about 26 minutes or so. And if you skip the beginning with Ben Bernanke ignoring Gary and the end credits, it's only about 18-20 minutes.

9 months ago I watched this video on youtube.

So I went to that address and found that it contained other videos too...
I was so disappointed that I joined the same day and started watching like crazy.
