Has anyone else gotten the impression that Dylan Ratigan doesn't like Cenk? Maybe a bit of a threat?

I've gotten that distinct feeling a couple of times I've seen them together.

Uygur has appeared on television on numerous occasions on MSNBC, CNN Headline News, E! Entertainment Television, Aljazeera, ABC News, Voice of America, NPR and the Fox News Channel.

He is a regular guest on The Dylan Ratigan Show for a segment opposite various conservative commentators. On several occasions, Uygur has guest hosted the show in Ratigan's absence, and has also served as guest host for The Ed Show in the absence of Ed Schultz as well as the guest host for Keith Olbermann on Countdown with Keith Olbermann.

On October 21, 2010 msnbc announced that Uygur had been officially hired as a contributor and substitute anchor for the network. Previously, Uygur had periodically guest hosted and appeared on numerous msnbc programs.

That was awesome.

Dylan Ratigan, eh? I'd never heard of him.

Also funny that until toferyu pointed it out I didn't notice or appreciate how hilarious it is that she leads into headlines with "Let's get some news in here" and this after following what will quite possibly be the best few minutes of news on MSNBC today.

Naw, he's only guest hosting here and there at the moment, but the writing is on the wall that he'll be getting his own show.

The week where he stood in for Dylan Ratigan saw MSNBCs ratings go through the roof, smashing those of all the other cable news programs. The execs are realising that people aren't watching TV for their information anymore, it's all online now and they're taking their lunch.

Where are these comments coming from? are you coming from a republian side?

and for the comment that says it isn't journalism? You really do have a point, but this is leagues better than just letting them spout talking points and moving to the next question for more talking points.

I was just on MSNBC talking about Israel, the Gaza blockade and the flotilla attack with Eliot Spitzer, who was guest-hosting for Dylan Ratigan. It was a rather contentious discussion, though quite illustrative of how Israel is (and is not) typically discussed on American television, so I'm posting the whole 8-minute segment below. Two points: (1) before I was on, Spitzer had on an Israel-defending law professor, followed by Netanyahu's former Chief of Staff, and both of them (along with Spitzer) were spewing pure Israeli propaganda in uninterrupted and unchallenged fashion; at the end of Spitzer's discussions with them, he asked them to "stick around just in case," and once I was left, he brought at least one of them back on to respond to what I said without challenge; (2) literally 90 seconds before my segment was about to begin, the new cam and sound system I just acquired stopped working, forcing me to unplug everything and use only my laptop cam and mic, which caused the technical aspects to be less than ideal (though still perfectly workable)"

Libertarians want to end all regulation but the progressives agree there is a problem, even if progressive rhetoric is basically bashing the right. This isn't really a left or right issue. Is it now?
