Frank Zappa - Greatest Drum Solo

Good stuff. Usually drum solos are the very definition of boring but some of them stand out. The best one I ever heard was David Bowie's drummer Dennis Davis, on his 1976 Station to Station tour. Dennis has a drum solo during "Panic in Detroit" and I have never heard any musician so connected with his instrument as Dennis is on that solo.

Thank you for the feed back Jonny.
The drummer is Kenny Jones. He played for the Who after Kieth Moon passed, and those are some pretty big shoes to fill.
Keith Moon may be the best rock drummer ever. Kenny Jones was Damn good.

I'm just looking for discussion.

Not the tightest performance - don't know the drummer, but he seems to be the weak link. The drum solo blew chunks, but the keys and guitars were pretty rocking.
