In other news, the story, while still active on CNN, was suddenly removed from the top stories after being near the top all morning... suddenly POOF. They had BETTER cover this if it turns out to be, as it seems, a hoax...

I just saw the film. As usual, all this stuff is blown out of proportion -- yes, the word "retard" is used many times in the film. But it's never used in a way that's meant to be hurtful, and all the characters saying it aren't exactly the smartest guys around. Plus -- I won't give anything away, but Robert Downey Jr. has a speech about the intricacies of playing a "retard" that's worth the price of admission alone. I'll probably be sifting it around when the DVD comes out, because I'm sure that part will pop up on Youtube at some point.

This was wonderful, but it made me think less of Robert Downey Jr. I guess it's hard to look like you have any rhythm next to Jack Black.

I dont know about that bellman, did you see who is casted as Iron man? None other than Robert Downey Jr. Mr. Alcohol & druggie himself. And you can see him drinking repeatly in the trailer. Unless you were being sarcastic, then I would feel dumb!

Yeah, and Robert Downey Jr? C'mon.

The only problem with Superhero films is when they put the mask on and it all becomes a bit Power Rangers.

On the downside this clip seems to show quite alot of the film and his escape from the terrorists was like something out of the A-Team.

Interesting casting though and I hope Downey-Jr is allowed to show some acting chops. There's no reason why you can't make a *good* superhero movie - I for one am still waiting...

Yeah, man. Believe me. The other footage that I found was way worse. One of just the back. One that was formatted all weird. One that was a bunch of worthless crap of a second of Jon Favreau and a minute of Robert Downey Jr.'s back and some stupid commentary on how he wears tall shoes for hight purposes. And, of course, the obligatory useless YouTube text captioning.

Trust me, this is the best I found. At least he gets close shots of every angle of it, and there's no useless filler. Besides, it's a video. When it gets to a part you want to see - PAUSE IT!

Heart Morton Downey Jr....loved that show....
