Dog rescued after spending 10 years tied to a chain outside

I hate dogs and find them obnoxious, malodorous, and over-rated, but COME ON, PEOPLE!
You've never had a dog. I am sad for you. If you ever do get the chance to know one, and perhaps own one, you will not only find that dogs are not only awesome in more ways than I can put into words, but they will give you a whole new dimension in life. Seriously. They can change your fucking life.
Seriously.
True, I'm not a big dog person but now that I've had my dog for a couple of years since she was a wee pup, I'd mangle anyone who treated her badly.
And I'm not ashamed to admit that watching this got me quite teary. If there is one redemptive quality about watching horrific shit like this, it's that seeing how bad one individual animal get's treated has far more impact than hearing that hundreds of thousands get mistreated. I think we need that occasional punch in the guts to remind us the sort of shit that goes on in the world, and how we should all be aware and try to do our part when an opportunity presents itself to make a difference. Statistics just can't do that.

This makes me realise how little I know about people. ... Fucking WHY?
Ignorance and laziness make for a grotesque combination. Don't try to rationalize what irrational people do, just keep talking in the hopes that they will allow themselves to be educated.

Goes without saying..., that I hope the previous owners were charged to the full extent of the law!
... or should have been put in a bag and hurled off a cliff.

Just admit it. You're sad that they took your dog.

Make the animal in the video a white blob, it doesnt matter what it is , its digusting to treat something that way, I honestly do not know why you felt you had to say " I hate dogs and find them obnoxious, malodorous and over rated "

You have to be maxing out the psychopath tests to do something like that to an animal. But I don't know how neighbours could let that go for so long despite reporting it. I'd be campaigning to get the animal released asap, not shrugging my shoulders because Animal Control still hadn't shown up.
Exactly!!! Ski-masks, gloves, pistols, and shotguns under the cover of night if needs be.

In this province that's, maybe, an extremely small fine, and a slap on the wrist because it simply costs the government too much to do much else (like imprisonment, for example).
HOWEVER, things very recently improved slightly.

Porcupine who thinks he is a puppy! Meet Stinkers!
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
When we lived up in Alaska- we had a dog who used to like to "play" with porcupines. He used to come home with a mouth full of quills - all through his muzzle, even piercing his tongue. Very nasty. Looks something like this.
