Double Overtake Fail
Does everyone in Russia have a dash cam? Why do they seem to be so prevalent there?
Russian Dashcam Compilation From TwisterNederland
This is why 3rd world countries (yes, that means you Russia) can't have nice things.
Considering just how much Russians suck at driving, I would not be the least surprised that ALL insurance companies require dash cams. Btw while not common stock at target yet, finding dash cams in boxs of cereal is not entirely out of the question. You can order basic ones online dirt cheap. A 720p capable dash cam with 2.5 inch display is just 27 bucks shipped.

Six things I have learned from this video about Russia...
1. Russia's weather/climate is terribly depressing
2. Dash cams have really caught on.
3. They all listen to Techno... all the time.
4. Car accidents are no surprise to drivers.
5. I never be seen driving ANYWHERE at ANYTIME in Russia.
6. Traffic lights are entirely optional in Russia.

Also, the auto insurance industry in Russia is not economically viable.

Traffic Surprise
I like how the car filming with the dash cam simply started to go around him Haha.
Hey, Where'd He Go??
Ah Russia, dash cams are so ubiquitous they're putting them on amusment park rides.
Driver has no option but to slam at 70 mph into stopped car!
Korean story on this: http://www.mhj21.com/sub_read.html?uid=54972§ion=section26§ion2=%EC%82%AC%ED%9A%8C%EC%9D%BC%EB%B0%98 (Chrome translates it, not sure about other browsers).
Seems it was a he as the article says he is asking what is going on. This is a black box recording of the accident on a Hyundai Sonata YF along with a dash cam. It was apparently an older gentleman. I have to guess that it is easy to armchair it in and say shift into N or kill the engine, but if your car suddenly starts accelerating faster than you are pressing the accelerator then panic probably kicks making rational thought go out the door... plus if I don't know about Korea, but at the local BMV, I often see older people given lots of chances to see the flashing light... "...do you see the light now? On the right?" "Oh! Yeah!".
Sausage Thief.
Is it a law to have a dash cam in every car in Russia?
More Russian Dash Cam Footage..........(Wait for it)

So which one is at fault?
Generally, turning across lanes has less right of way that going in a straight line...or at least here in the states. Car in the right is turning across the car on the lefts lane. Perhaps someone from russia or wherever this is can enlighten us
Never Drive In Russia
Insurance companies heavily discount their rates to those who install dash cams. They pay for themselves instantly. I would support such a system if it was available to me. >> ^spoco2:
Is Russia planning on boosting its economy via ad revenue from these dashcam videos? It's like it's been mandated that everyone must have one installed and everyone must post to youtube whenever anything interesting happens.
Triple Fail In Less Than 30 Seconds.
Is YouTube paying people in other countries to install dash cams?

Done.
A completely different kind of Russian dash-cam video
I don't think a knowledge of Russian would have made any difference.

Is it wrong that, due to the nature of most Russian dash-cams I've seen, I completely expected them to be in an accident at any point in the video...

They lost me about halfway through because I don't understand Russian, but it was pretty damned funny until then. heh
