I Don't Wanna Sound Racist But... (PA McCain/Palin Rally)

13554 says...

For background of where my comment comes from understand I'm a Republican, a McCain supporter and disappointed the Condi Rice had no interest in running even after the draft Codi movement that rose up within my party at the start of the primaries.
The video shows us some racist individual morons with a couple choice quotes. Beyond that, I suggest you see past what the videographer and editor is feeding you.
1. There was a crowd of pissed McCain supporters. Why so angry? Maybe because they came to a McCain rally to be confronted by sign-carrying Obama supporters. How warmly would McCain chanting supporters be welcomed at an Obama rally?
2. Were the Obama supporters shouting anything rude and provocative? Obviously not. They were silently waving their signs in slow motion to hip, upbeat music as the video shows. Opposition that shows up at a prearranged political rally would never be rude. Right.

If you are so easily lead to judge a large group of people by a small number of individuals fed to you by the media (even small indy web media manipulators can use misleading techniques) then you may be past being able to think for yourself.

Me? I'll choose not to judge all Obama supporters by a few worst examples, who would say hateful things like, "A perfect opportunity to call in an air strike," and "...and 2 days after the election they will go back to eating potatochips and watching tv."(jsut one of several snarky, urban elitist jabs in the comments at perceived hillbillies between New York and L.A.) I'm afraid of the kind of easily manipulated people who are fed a piece of video propaganda and are ready to propose opposing "ignorance" of "30-40% of the population" by "getting rid of religion to start with, or forcing some mass mandatory re-education program..." I hope they are rare as I think.

John McCain: "That One"

quantumushroom says...

If you want to see despicable, unapologetic racism, sexism and ageism, look no further than the Donkey Party and their media lackeys. Observe the way they've treated Powell, Palin, Clarence Thomas, Alberto Gonzales, Condi, Bush's wife and daughters and now McCain.

Anyone outside of the liberal multi-cult circle of tolerance is fair game for their treachery, yet they're the first to howl "racism" when called on their BS. The sissies can dish it but not take it.

Robert Byrd, the "ex" Ku Klux Klansman is whom Democrats revere as "the conscience of the Senate".

So please, liberals, refrain from pretending you're not hateful in your own special ways.

Obama Campaign Manager reviews Battleground States - Sept 17

Constitutional_Patriot says...

Ahh.. a message from Bilderberg attendee David Plouffe. It was rumoured that the Bilderbergers helped him to decide who Obama's VP was going to be when he attended the Bilderberg convention that was held conveniently in Washington, DC this year.

Funny.. you probably didn't even know he attended that secret meeting did you? Condi and a cast of many others were there. It's unfortunate that they are under oath to not reveal the minutes of such an important bipartisan, multi-international business-head and international leader meeting.

In fact.. it was even prohibited of being discussed on the news stations as usual. It was only reported in a few small papers and blogs with protestor coverage listed on youtube.

Think about it.. if a total media blackout can occur each year (with praise from Rockefeller *(see below) for such blackouts) on such an ominously important meeting of world leaders and business heads then what's to make you believe the media and the two remaining campaigns for president is being honest with us. In fact.. knowing this.... how can you be proud of either candidate?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“… it would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government …”
- David Rockefeller in Baden-Baden, Germany 1991, thanking major media for keeping secret for decades the movement of the prophetic one world government.

Roast IX: Who the f**k is this guy? (Parody Talk Post)

thinker247 says...

My comment about MG's Condi love doll has more upvotes than my original roast, so...

Never. This roast will never be kicked off. It will be the last survivor of Survivor: VideoSift Island, and it will dance naked around a campfire, then be arrested for tax evasion. It will outlast the cockroaches, yet it will never officially be kicked off.

It will be the eternal Sanjaya of roasts.

It will be the football sitting on the tee, waiting for some Scandinavian midget to start the Super Bowl. But the final score will be 0-0, because it will never, ever, be kicked off.

>> ^blankfist:
When are we kicking off this roast, by the way?

Why are the politicians so go damned stupid. Condie is an idiot to say that, so is McCain.
Come to think of that, hes going to be kicking himself for letting dizzies like "bomb bom bom" or "nations don't invade other nations" slip out like dribble from his morning lobotomy.

Only if people hear them. I still have doubts whether the Dems will run TV ads with those gems.

I hope they do. Raising the level of civil discourse isn't worth letting this man convince people he's "safe".

Bush demands cease-fire in Georgia

GeeSussFreeK says...

>> ^NetRunner:
@GeeSussFreeK, you sure sound like a Bush fan.
I think that he probably should've come home from China sooner.
I think that he probably shouldn't have made assurances to Georgia that we would protect them from Russia before fighting broke out.
I think he should at least mention that Georgia started the fight.
I think he shouldn't start off with accusations of a potential escalation that didn't happen, and then instead of using the usual "The United States condemns the actions of Russia", says "Invading a sovreign country is unacceptable in the 21st Century".
I think rather than letting Condi finish out her vacation, he should tell her that her country needs her to be in Moscow, ASAP.
He doesn't mention it in this video, but I think we should stop pushing the idea of Georgia joining NATO for the moment (something Bush/McCain express a need for in other statements).
Toothless outrage followed by a mumbling of diplomacy is exactly the wrong message to be sending. It should be diplomacy first, with a mumbling about standing for our allies if necessary.
Bush isn't Clinton. Setting my bar as low as it will go, I will say at least Clinton avoided committing human rights violations during his 8 years, while Bush seems to have gotten rolling with them in 2002, and hasn't looked back since.
If you meant to compare George H.W. Bush with Clinton, I think that's pretty fair, since they were both pretty moderate and capable (while still managing to piss off people from the other political party).

Let me more precise then. I dislike bush and his bending of the constitution to the highest degree. Of all the presedents of my life time, no one has expanded the policing powers of the government more than he. With that bias in the clear, let me retort some of these things, and agree with you on others.

I also think he should of come home from China sooner. Even more so since he pleagded support. However, in that, NATO does not accept members with territorial disputes, and as long as this still has the PR of a territorial despute, his hands are tied.

The jury is still out on who fired first, and you will never really know who it was. Why are Russia claims more valid than Georgian ones?

Invading a sov sovreign country was the grounds of the first gulf war with had support from the UN and a large portions of the nations of the world united and fought against, this being the same kind of situation would tend to suggest the same kind of action could be warrented.

Yes, I also agree that condi should be in moscow ASAP. It is his call, he knows more about the details then we do, so I can't be to desisive on my own opinion.

I don't see why he should stop talking about them joining NATO. It would seem they need protection from large powers more than ever? Why do you think they should take this off the table, and don't you think that would undermine our position of loyalty to the Georgians in their minds of us?

I think the leasons from the cold war need to be explained again. Always come out bold, then digress later. Even Kenedy knew the most ancient rule of nation states, never apear weak or your enimies will take advantage. Taking a strong stand by your allies IS a diplomatic method of resolution that workd for 50 years in the cold war till Russia evaporated.

Your right, bush isn't Clinton, that was a poor analagy as to the president can't stop doing his job because of something. And I would say I hate bush's evaporation of the rights of america far more than lusting after the ladies.

However, I don't see this as a mistake or any kind for the prez to react in this way. In fact, I was hoping it would happen sooner than it did.

edit: BTW. I hope none of this comes off as condicending, I always appriticate anothers point of view.

Zhirinovsky epic rant on Bush and US-George, you're a cowboy

EDD says...

Yes, he was especially right about Russian doomsday devices. He was also spot-on how ALL of US infantry would be killed there, as well as how Condi would be gang-raped by all the elite Iraqi soldiers who can cross the desert in an hour. His analysis of the US dollar (we're talking 2002 here) was flawless, especially considering how just a couple of years earlier most private savings in Russia as well as prices for virtually all consumer goods and even majority of private salaries were quoted in USD $.

Only truth out of this guy's mouth, indeed.

Ron Paul vs Condoleezza Rice

HadouKen24 says...

Oof. I feel that some of Condi's points need to be responded to.

1) Not all "terrorists" are alike, obviously. Condi needs to get it straight that Hezbollah is not Al Qaeda. They are very different organizations with somewhat opposed goals. They shouldn't be lumped together. As Paul points out, it is highly unlikely that Iran would be helping Sunni terrorists, and Condi's answer is just some more of the vague hand waving he was complaining about.

2) Iran Nuclear Program: Iran is currently approaching a major energy crisis. Lack of maintenance and support for their oil refinement infrastructure, combined with increased energy demand, has been having serious effects on their economy. It's projected that within a decade, Iran will not be exporting any oil at all. To help combat the crisis, Iran is now requiring all of its automobile manufacturers to make hybrid cars only. It is only reasonable that they move to nuclear energy. That's not to say that they might not also work on nuclear bombs on the hush-hush as well; it's in their interests. But as things stand, they can't afford /not/ to build nuclear reactors at this time.

3) The supposed unilaterality of the opposition to Iran is not as simple as it seems. To be sure, the craziness of Ahmadinejad does tend to make non-Iranians worry, but the real worry isn't that Iran will bomb anyone. Rather, the power afforded by nuclear weapons would make Iran a far more influential country, with far more say as to how the Western countries interfere in the Middle East. To be sure, there is some truth to Condi's assertion that it's a national security matter; a rise in Iranian power could threaten our petroleum supply. In response, one must answer with the cliche, nonetheless true, that we need to reduce our dependence on petroleum period. A more far-sighted foreign policy would allow Iran to do as it wills in the region--decreasing Middle Eastern animus toward the West and especially America--and simultaneously move toward alternative energy sources in serious way. The Bush administration's lack of concern with alternative energy is well established by now.
