You’re, not you, not your, not yor. This is grade school stuff even Jethro knew. This is MERICA, learn the language or GET OUT! 😂

Only to you, sir, and you deserve every bit of smug arrogance, every instance of derision and ridicule. It’s impossible to not seem elitist when presented with your ignorant, uneducated, aggressive, faux superior douchebaggieness and hatefulness. I am not special. I’m not a beautiful and unique snowflake. I’m the same decaying organic matter as everything else, but I’m not a steaming pile of toxic shit like yourself.

I walk around with a smile on my face and puppy kisses on top of that smile. All my bile is reserved for you and criminal cops. You admitted once that you go to bed irate and seething more often than not, I don’t.

Only you get the answer for everything, because you, with no answers or facts, are the biggest natural constant victim I’ve ever known besides Trump. I’m happy to research and learn how idiotically ignorant every position you take is, it prepares me for other Trumpists I know who aren’t learning deficient, just duped. You are a lost cause.

I’m no victim. Nearly every right wing attack I defend against is NOT against myself, I’m an educated upper middle class straight white male property owner with no debt, I’m exactly who your party thinks it wants in charge. D’oh!

Acab? Again, I don’t speak conspiracy nutjob, can you try English?

BLM is good, they triggered a long overdue police reform that’s finally slowly bringing consequences back to murderous criminal police actions. It’s disgusting they had to exist and go to such extremes to get police reform, but clearly it wouldn’t have happened without them. Even if you dishonestly blame all the damage done by Trump’s boogaloo boys and proud boys to BLM, <$200 million is cheap for real police reform, and less than 1/2 the cost of Jan 6 and the extra security required immediately afterwards.
Trump is bad, he destroyed the economy to a negative gdp, exploded unemployment, eroded our international standing, divided the country more than any issue, destroyed our national credit, damaged our election system badly and tried to subvert it, tried a violent coup and failed, stole classified nuclear secrets and showed them to anyone and left them in public ballrooms, hallways, and bathrooms, was convicted of sex abuse, and his idiotic racist policies led to well over a million unnecessary American deaths and 3 times that in severely disabled survivors while countries with intelligent leadership avoided nearly all covid (NZ, Australia, etc).

Grooming is good, it makes one presentable, less stinky, and prevents disease. You should try it, you must smell disgusting and look as disheveled as you speak.

I am against pedophiles training children for sex, but that’s your party over and over and over and over and over. You have one accused leftist mayor to point to, I have >10000 priests, >100 politicians, Epstein, Trump, and your alma mater Penn State to point at as disgusting criminal sex abusers who’ve been caught, prosecuted, and convicted on the right.

Lol…sick man! 😂 from you, a compliment.

It’s guaranteed you sucked that tit more than myself, friendo. I’ve never taken a handout, or loan from the government, I’ve been a property owner for near 3 decades without ever having debt, not even credit card or home loan debt. I paid for school in cash, and my house. I give away more than most, and take nothing…and I consistently overpay my taxes.

I bet you even tried to get an unsecured Trump ppp loan you didn’t have to repay like so many socialist righties…like MTG, Boebert, and every other red politician did to the tune of millions, I know you’re just loving that socialist handout and all the corporate socialism Trump practiced, and are thanking Trump for not allowing any vetting or loan securities by design. Every accusation is an admission, and the socialist accusation is one of the biggest instances. If government “handouts” were cut off tomorrow, red states would be bankrupt by Sunday, conservative businesses would fail, and conservatives would default on their massive debts at rates never imagined. I know, in your total ignorance, you disagree and see no need to look into that claim, you just KNOW it can’t be true… Gutfeld told you liberals are the takers. 🤦‍♂️

You’re a sick, stupid man from a disgustingly sick sexually abusive school made sicker and stupider by the absolute insanity and dishonesty of Trumpism, whining and sniveling about how unfair it is without Trump as dictator.

How you like your Penn State teacher Themis Matsoukas getting busted for having sex with his dog in public and recording it, not his first public sex crime? You took his class, didn’t you…Sandusky too I bet, they’re your kind of people. Did you take wrestling with Gym Jordan?

PS- how are those “whistleblower” committees going? Too bad every whistleblower turned out to be fake, the evidence nonexistent, those audio tapes a fantasy, the bank records ethereal, and the accusation so incredibly stupid and backwards it makes you a disgraceful laughing stock once again. Sucker. 😂

D’oh! Twump lost another case, this time his attempt to remove his cases from New York State court to a federal court under a Trump judge, but his inept lawyers provided no evidence and only one witness that had no material information about the case and lost the appeal/motion. Can you remember the last time Trump’s team was successful in court? I can’t..certainly not after he was tossed out of office (except the one activist judge that was reversed and reprimanded).

Bonus- the merger deal for Toth Senchal may be dead because members of the board of the SPAC are indicted/arrested for insider trading using confidential information surrounding the merger itself. Another Trump company circling the drain because of corruption at the top.

You a perfect example of the elitist. Smug and arrogant.
You walk around with a chip on your shoulder and and and elitist answer for everything. You are a professional victim.

You walk in these ideas.

BLM is good
Trump is bad
Grooming is ok.

Your a sick man sucking the tit of liberalism.

@kevingrr
you are engaging in a false polemic defense.
and it is unnecessary.

i did not call you out specifically so there is no need to defend your actions nor those who you know personally.

and just because i point out one truth does not negate the other.
example:

"the soldier who oversaw the gas chambers during world war 2 was a fantastic father and husband"

1.the soldier was a fantastic father and husband=true
2.he oversaw and fascillitated the deaths of thousands of jews=true

as for my "america is circling the drain" assertion, let me rephrase to make it a more succinct statement:
"the american empire is circling the drain"
see:rome (and pretty much every empire known to human history)

There is little doubt that Child Labor, Labor Explotation, and Forced Labor continue to be of a major concern with Africa and Asia/India being particularly problematic. That said, concerted efforts are being made to reduce these numbers and they are improving, but slower than anyone would like. Unfortunately the problem is largely cyclical - even educated youth have trouble finding productive work, so they are forced into unskilled labor, and there is little economic growth.

Again, there is no magic wand that any one organization or person can waive to resolve these issues. The ILO has been trying for almost 100 years...

I would not characterize every person who is lucky or privileged enough that they do not live in those conditions to be terrible people.

Consumerism?
Nor would I characterize people's value as simply being good consumers. The people I know in my life all make contributions to the welfare of those around them and are rewarded for those contributions.

e.g. My best friend, a p.h.d. doing research regarding immunology I can't begin to understand. My fiance, finishing her ER residency at the county hospital. My brother, working as a kayaking guide.

Circling the Drain
Is America really circling the drain? I doubt it. Has it done terrible things? We all know it has.

When I look around I see a lot of problems here. We do have a huge wealth gap. We do have ghettos and crime. We have all sorts of selfcentered ego driven loons.

Yet we also have an enormous pool of talented and intelligent people working on all kinds of things. Some of which are mundane and some of which are really amazing - and many of which are sifted about on this website all the time.

Carlin
I saw Carlin live twice before he died. I own several of his books. I think he is a brilliant comedian and insightful thinker. My point is and was - he saw it as his job to remind us "HEY - look over here. See this shit? This is FUCKED." And he was right.

@kevingrr
who said anything about feelings?
while i actually share your optimism and am nowhere near the nihilistic philosophy that carlin is bemoaning in this clip,i also have my eyes wide open.

i realize that the computer i am using to converse with you was due to the exploitation of workers on the other side of the globe.that some 15 year old indonesian worked 16 hours so he/she could buy a bowl of rice and live in an apartment with 20 other people.or that the 5$ pair of nike shorts i am wearing was made by some worker in bangledesh who made 27 cents and sleeps in a tin shack covered with plastic bags.

i live in a country where ones self-worth is directly related to what they can buy.people are judged by what they own.how they look.how they make their living.

when you compare the social attitudes,in regards to community, from 50 years ago to now the radical changes are immense.

this is what carlin was addressing.
that basically your only redeeming social value is your ability to buy useless crap.

argue all you want about which pair of shoes is better,or whats the best toilet paper but dont ever question the system.

carlin is just lamenting the willful ignorance of an american populace that has been brainwashed into believing that they are the center of the universe.

and you are right.there has been improvement, but in other countries.
it is america that is circling the drain.

George Carlin "I Gave Up On My Species"

evolutionary history shows that the planet only gets smarter. even when the dinosaurs went extinct, birds remained; a much more refined, cooperative, and less violent species.
we're not circling the drain, we're stirring the pot.

George Carlin "I Gave Up On My Species"

kevingrr says...

I love Carlin and I love his insight and comedy, but I don't take him that seriously.

By that I mean that I take his comments as a challenge. Not a challenge to debate him on facts - yes all sorts of people have made all kinds of bad decisions. Politicians, corporations, individuals, gangs, clubs, schools, you, me, your friends and my friends have all made all sorts of bad hypocritical immoral backwards ass actions that have maimed, destroyed, burned, polluted, hurt, deprived and desecrated.

Yet I am not willing to give into the cynicism and contempt some fellow sifters do about the world and people around me. I can't look at any of the above and say any are perfect or that any are evil.

I believe that Steve Pinker is right - while we are still violent we are statistically less violent.

I look at what Bill Gates is doing.

I look at the "toys" we have, and the art we are making.

I watch two young guys go give waitresses $200 tips.

Maybe what is circling the drain is all that SHIT we do. All that bad stuff making a slow, but eventual, exit.

Lars Von Trier stuns Cannes with "I understand Hitler"

asynchronice says...

Bucking political correctness is great; not being part of the herd is likewise great; however neither exclude you from just being an idiot.

"Antichrist" was just terrible; based on what I've read, this man's purpose in life is to create what appears to be high-brow, visually striking art, but it is devoid of real meaningful content or message apart from being shocking or just flat out incoherent. It's the kind of art that you could feverishly try to intellectualize into something amazing, but really you're just circling the drain, and he's laughing at you all the way down.

In other words, he is definitely German.

How To Brainwash a Nation

Larry King: Ron Paul vs. Michael Moore

Enzoblue says...

Guys guys, the reason everything is circling the drain in the economy is because THE GOVERNMENT IS IN ON IT. The corporations aren't left to do battle on their own, they've enlisted the governments help and are GETTING THEIR SCAMS LEGALIZED. If the market was truly free, there would be so much competition that there would be only some top end companies and almost no mega-corporations - except for oil maybe.

Please think about what a free market really means before you spout off.

Yes, maybe seat belts wouldn't have been mandatory, but if enough studies and common sense show they save lives, there would be smaller seat belt after market companies making a living, then the manufacturers would jump on the wagon etc. It would eventually balance.

Yes their may be some huge scams, but the company caught would get busted, (It's still illegal to steal), and their company would go down the tubes fast once their competitors got wind and sprayed the media with the news. There would be so much competition that a company would be foolish to even try. The way it is now, the companies can just have the government change the legal definition of what's a scam, makes a shitload, then buy up other companies to end competition, then have the government bail them out when the scam hits the back end.

Sheesh.

Michael Moore: Greed Killed Newspapers

radx says...

Prior to this excerpt of the interview, Moore claims that the internet cannot be the primary reason for the demise of daily newspapers, because they are not circling the drain in Europe. "Last I've heard they've got the internet in Germany", Moore says. And ironically enough, German newspapers are having problems, naturally attributed to the internet as well.

But Moore then goes on to claim that a primary reason is that newspapers made themselves irrelevant by becoming untrustworthy. Now that's problem shared equally by European newspapers. He's spot on with this one. One of our most respected investigative newspapers has become the mouthpiece for lobby groups. Others went down the same path. It has come to a point where there is not a single newspaper in this bloody country that you can trust to supply you with well researched and objectively presented information on a daily basis.

There still are some fine newspapers out there, especially British, French and Swiss ones, but the industry as a whole fails miserably at what it's supposed to do. That said, a combination of quality papers still provides more content for the buck than anything else, so I very much like to keep reading my two daily newspapers during breakfast and on the way to work. Moore mentions a key point of this: income cannot primarily rely on advertisement or else the quality of content will suffer inevitably.

Shit is getting out of hand fast.

It may end up circling the drain before its all over.

I hope this guy is wrong... and just plain crazy.. but something tells me he ins't. Something in my gut... deep down, maybe its my Ben Franklin or my Jefferson sense.

Why U.S is in Iraq. Explained in 8 mins.I knew it!

NordlichReiter says...

Ill put it over! TO THE FRONT WITH THIS!

What we have to understand, is that at any moment this whole bowl of toilet water could start circling the drain at any moment. So why would people keep fighting change? You cannot fight change, because change happens every time an atom fires.
