Buckethead

choggie says...

"How can thou hate what is beyond thy understanding? Nobody hates Choggie"

that's why the ex still loves me.....Hey, I'll have to defer to both camps on this one...I stumbled acroost Bucketboy by accident, and must say that in all the years of seeing some whacked acts of genius AND species, this cat is a cake-taker...the whole KFC hat is freekin' spaced....and like Bill O' freekin-why-would-one-pick-that-for-a-handle-unless-it-was-yer-given-name oreilly says, you CAN get similar sounds from a roomfull of monkeys on a hundred guitars, or from any busker, any city, del Mundo......

Saw a one-armed cat in a wheechair with a prepared-type slide-Strat-thingy on the street, wailing his ever-loving ass off! This guy ain't bad, can see the attraction......Hey fans; All his solos??? Do they run together like Cadbury eggs in the sun like this one......?

The Knife - Heartbeats

benjee says...

It's also been covered (quite well I might add) by the Yeah Yeah Yeah's - a classic electro song...shame it's only getting the recognition it deserves now; after every busker and his dog have covered it years later.

Glad you've posted it Farhad (doubly so as I missed it first time through the queue!)

Westy, I thought you were going to say you hated the masterbation of 8bit music by using classical instruments.
This is like the Cambridge Buskers, that take a group of classicly trained musicians and then have everyone swap instruments. For the audience and the performers - "Now for something completly different"

Amazing Spray Paint Artist

ookook says...

It's not transfer sheets; it's just scraps of glossy paper torn from magazines. The paper sticks to the still-wet top layers of paint and peels it off.

I always wonder which street busker thought of this first, and whether he's proud or ashamed of the fact that zillions of guys with spray cans have been copying him on beaches and sidewalks around the world.
