The Duality Of MAGA

newtboy says...

Nope, these were the only ones that could string sentences together. The MENSA of MAGA. There were 3 of them. I point to your last bungled attempt at English above/below and inability to count to 3 as a prime example of average MAGA grammar and lucidity.

I wonder if they know ALL the Trumps got kicked out of New York for running a 100% criminal racket….or that it was not his first fraudulent business, just the largest.
I wonder if they know he paid millions for racist illegal “redlining” in the 80s but never stopped.
I wonder if they know the entire family is banned from not only running any businesses but also banned from charity work because they ran fake charities for veterans they stole from and never did any charity work with donations, just bought things for themselves.

Joe Rogan Clarifies His Vaccine Comments

luxintenebris says...

So it's, The Joe Rogan "Experience"?

It's just his head is covering a number of letters in the title.

Didn't want to mistake it for "Excellence".

(the "Rumble in the Jungle" tee could easily just as been replaced with "Bungle in the Jungle"...It'd all right by me.)

Covid Deaths Trump Vs Biden

newtboy says...

@bobknight33 you ignorant slut.....

80-90% of all US covid deaths are because of Trump's total bungling of the pandemic. Most due to his denying it was anything but flu for months and encouragement of his followers to ignore and fight against public health measures. Every death since July is because of Trump's disastrous response, and most deaths before July but not all. After two months, Biden's administration has cut deaths by 60%+.

So yes, anyone responsible for that many deaths should not remain president, and he didn't despite the fraud fraud and attempted overthrow of democracy he perpetrated.

A message to children from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

cloudballoon says...

Although I'm a life-long small "l" Liberal voter, and Justin Trudeau is still the better leader of the major parties, he did made quite a few major political bungling.

Though the policies are sound, the implementations are a mess.

Overall, he can talk a good game but there are so many external forces fighting against him, nothing much has to gotten done.

Quite similar to France's Macron.

T.I. has Melania Trump...

BSR says...

Dude. Proofread your stuff. It makes you look incompetent.

Incompetent:

1. Not having or showing the necessary skills to do something successfully.

If this was Michael Obama the media would be loosing its mind and blowing its stack. The outrage of outrage.

Then again Michael Obama is a dog and could not pull this off.

Brian Cox explains Entropy

ChaosEngine says...

some *quality cox there. Love me some thermodynamics. Gives me an opportunity to bust out one of my favourite science quotes:

"The law that entropy always increases holds, I think, the supreme position among the laws of Nature. If someone points out to you that your pet theory of the universe is in disagreement with Maxwell's equations — then so much the worse for Maxwell's equations. If it is found to be contradicted by observation — well, these experimentalists do bungle things sometimes. But if your theory is found to be against the second law of thermodynamics I can give you no hope; there is nothing for it but to collapse in deepest humiliation."
Sir Arthur Stanley Eddington

Entropy is, somewhat perversely, information.

Sam Harris on Trump

MilkmanDan says...

I think Sam Harris is awesome, so there was a lot of interesting stuff in there even though it came from before the election.

I agree with everything he said about who Trump is; his motivations (or lack thereof), narcissism, potential psychological issues, etc. Yet I disagree with his threat analysis. I still think that Trump's "balloon flying around randomly" presidency seems like it could easily be better than a Clinton presidency.

Trump will cause some incidental damage with his chaotic randomness. But basically, it will be 4 years (please) of loud noises and flashing lights that mostly goes nowhere. Hillary, with all the baggage and rumors etc. that may not true, is still in general the kind of person that people like Hitchens said she was. She's savvy, subtle, and frankly dangerous. And she's extremely well connected. When Trump randomly bungles his way into some big screw-up, we're going to hear about it. If Hillary weaseled into some dirty back-door stuff that could cause real long-term problems, there's a good chance we'd never find out about it.

Then he mentioned the "Trump vs random US citizen" argument. Jesus, I'd have taken random US citizen in a heartbeat over Trump or Clinton. Hell, I think that would be a fantastic way to call a mulligan and replace every last member of our corrupt, incompetent, and entrenched congress...

Why I Left the Left

enoch says...

the left won the moral argument decades ago,now a small cadre a shrieking harpies has taken over to....ok..i don't know WHAT they are trying to do,because everytime i try to speak to one of those snowflakes, they spray me with pepper spray, call me a rapist and run to their safe space.

or they tell me that i am not entitled to an opinion, because i am a hetero-white-male.

not saying a discussion with someone on the ultra right fares any better.either they want to share their adoration of their corporate jesus..joel olsteen..or they are constantly trying to berate me with neo-fascist literature, and show me just how patriotic a super patriot like them REALLY is,and then tell me why they couldn't join the military due to horrible bunions.

and of course one mention of muslims and they wet themselves.getting sick of loaning out my extra clothes because their bladder gets weak at the mere mention of brown people.

for years we have watched the left lose their way,and get lost in an ocean of rhetoric and faux outrage, and the same has happened with the right.

the extremes have taken hold of the megaphone, and are trying to shout each other down with their own sanctimonious self-righteous moralizing.

so the left is in the corner picking boogers and the right has gone fucking insane.

i'm telling you guys...
trump is not the disease...
he is a symptom.

our country is very very sick right now.

and i fear it is only going to get worse.

i predicted when trump won that he would rival bush in his ineptness and bungling buffoonery.well here it is a month into his presidency and i think i can say with some conviction:i was wrong..it is going to be so much worse than bush.

i need a drink...

Need More Proof That The Music Industry Is Fake? Here You Go

Asmo says...

When you raise people up to be gods, they must become infallible. Hence autotune. Look at retouching for big stars in bluray or 4k rez to ensure every minute imperfection is covered up... The audience demands infallibility. You do a full dance routine, you're likely to be huffing and puffing by the end of it. I doubt even the fittest of "pop stars" could manage that. It's understandable that even long term stars who have real talent have gotten lazy.

Then there are just manufactured twats who can't sing worth shit but look the part. Nothing new there, can't believe people fall for it...

Live music is where it's at, give me a cover band belting out Wildflower by the Cult in a pub any day, or the recording of Faith No More at Brixton. They are real performances, they have stuff ups (Patton bungling one of the last verses of War Pigs for example) and that doesn't matter a lick because you're getting The Real Thing (/grin).

Automatics for the People - Jon Stewart

Yogi says...

I think this implies that the United States is incompetent or bumbling. I'm sure you can point to several examples where they have been. I also think you can point to many more examples where they have actively and knowingly fucked up the Middle East because of a particular strategic reason.

Don't let war criminals off the hook because people are more accepting of the arguments of a bungling government than a nefarious one.
